For those who have also had a c-section, question:
I had my baby 1 week 5 days ago, and just noticed today a spot of dried blood (in between the size of a quarter and dime) along the incision line (not the whole thing, just a spot on the right side).
I was stupid earlier and lifted DS2 when I shouldn't have (he's 20 plus pounds, I'm not sure if it's from that or just in general). I am in no pain, no fever, the whole area is still feels tender and a little achy...I called the OB on call, and she said to take a shower and see if it came back.
A few hours after my shower I checked it and the spot had come back, not any bigger or smaller than before. So now, I am of course freaking out....anyway, the point of my question is:
for those who had had c-sections, did you have any tiny spot of blood a week or two after c-section? My husband think it's normal and recalls having a tiny bit of blood along incsion line with DS1, but I don't recall that at all. He thinks I need to calm down and just to keep my eye on it. I plan to keep my eye on it, but I can't stop freaking out about it....I just wanted to see if this was somewhat 'normal'.
I really don't to go to the ER for a small spot of bleeding, but yet this is really on my mind.

If it will give you peace of mind I would go in. I personally would go in...I get freaked out easily though. To me incisions are nothing to fool around with. Hope it's nothing but if it's something I hope it gets better fast!

Hey hun, I had an infection after ds3 and I asked about 3 nurses and they all looked at it and said it was fine, I had had C sections before, it just didn't looks the same, kind of weepy. I wasn't going to ask my Dr but did and he knew straight away it was infected.
I say go with your gut, if it was my first child, I wouldn't of thought any different, it doesn't hurt to go in and get it checked, it can be totally normal to ooze and bleed, but at the same time it's not worth waiting around for it to get worse.
I had no temp at the time either. Not trying to scare you, sure it is all fine but I would get it checked to be sure.13 years
