Good question, I don't know the answer.
Is it anything like anitibiotics swaying blue? I don't even remember why/how antibiotics sway blue, but maybe if there is truth to that depending on how that works a flu shot could be in your favor????
Otherwise, I think it might be like getting sick and that can sway pink so can you postpone shot???

I suspect that no-one has ever studied it but I would guess it sways pink because it will put pressure on your immune system. Worth getting it though if you want to get pregnant because you really don't want the flu if you are pregnant, for you or babies sake

I will undoubtedly get the flu shot. I am required to because of my job and I know it's recommended for pregnant women.
My question is, should I get it today, 1 week before I try to conceive,
should I wait until I'm a couple weeks pregnant
or should I get it and put off TTC for one more month. (I am so tired of red meat, lemons, and gaining weight!)
It's an inactivated virus, so I wouldn't think it would put much strain on my immune system.
So many monkey wrenches being thrown my way! I appreciate any thoughts.

Even though I am a trained vaccinator and know in my head that the flu shot is supposed to be safe in pregnancy, I would personally do it before I fell pregnant rather than in the first trimester.
The flu shot is an inactivated virus but your body still has to make antibodies to it, how much that would sway is debatable.
If you are doing everything else, might as well get it done now and try for this month. You don't want to be having the same debate with yourself next month if you don't fall pregnant this month (and I hope you do)

I am probably too late to reply but for a blue sway I would probably wait till next month. I don't KNOW that it sways, but I know illness can sway pink and since you do get a little bit ill after a vaccine, I'd play it safe and wait.
