Anyone done the bicarbonate of soda/ baking soda gender test for fun? I had a go this morning, it is supposed to fizz if it is a boy and do nothing if it is a girl. When I first put the pee into the cup with the bicarb of soda it didn't do anything, then I swirled it around and it fizzed lol! So I'm not sure! Think it probably indicates boy, but not sure if it would have fizzed if I hadn't have swirled it around!

Anyone else fancy a go? Be fun to see how many are accurate!

Lassie - You put a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda/ baking soda (not baking powder) into a cup and then pour some of your wee onto it. If it fizzes then the theory goes you are having a boy and if it doesn't you are having a girl.

Ladies I'm so sick I don't know how I'm going to make it through the day. I'm taking Zofran and it seemed like it was working, but yesterday and today have been absolutely horrible. Sorry for the whine...

That is EXACTLY what I said to DH. You know, before he started hyperventilating and decided to lie down on the floor.

Mom to a blended family of 5 kids (3 boys, 2 girls), with one more due in late May 2013. We swayed for a girl, but have a sweet baby boy on the way.
