Mocha I hope you are holding that lil one now. Just wanted to offer some encouragement. With DC #4 my midwife checked me and declared I was 3cm... she said she was going home to sleep! I was discouraged. Well 2 hours later I had my baby in my arms when my midwife walked back in the door after DH phoned her to tell her my waters had broken

How you doing Mocha? Hope you managed to get some rest xxx

Hobbers & Peony ~ my dog is on the mend thankfully but if it comes out again (which it has more chance of doing now its already been done) then she will need an operation to fix it. She was diagnosed with lupus early this year and is getting onto 8 years old so not sure how much she can go through

I totally feel like i been running round like a headless chicken the past week or so, but DH has been great and helped out where he can. He been doing the school run for the older 2 boys before he gone to work, which has been a great help.
As for the homebirth i really feel neglected and have loads of questions having never had one before, hopefully at my appt tomorrow i will get some answers! I like to be organised and if i need to get stuff in ready etc i like to have it ready but i cant do that if i dont know what to expect/get.

On the upside tho ladies i have pulled my finger out after my contractions last week, packed a hospital bag just incase and got all babies stuf out cleaned and ready

How are all you other ladies doing? Not long now before all these babies will be showing their gorgeous little faces....exciting!!!

I'm sure Mocha won't mind me saying (as she did the same for me ) that her darling daughter Sadie was born at 8.50am this morning, 8lb 2oz. Congratulations again!!

Hi ladies - Sadie and I are doing well. I went into active labour around 2am last night, and as Z said she was born at 8:50 this morning. She's a lovely, chubby baby with a full head of dark hair, and is nursing like a champ already. I'll write up my birth story later, but I'll just say I found labour way too intense after having only 2 hours sleep in a 60 hour period. When I was at 7 cm and feeling the full effects of the back labour, I opted for an epidural. What a difference! I have no regrets since I got to enjoy my last birth relatively pain free - I'm not sure I would have had the energy to push otherwise.
