Oh my goodness, some people just don't engage their brains do they. As Tiffani says I don't know how you stopped yourself from having a go at her.

A friend of mine was over for a bbq one time with some other friends, when I was getting some food to bring out they must have all started talking about children and were quizzing her about whether she was going to have any and she should get a move on etc. When I came back I could see she looked really upset, I took her to one side and asked if she was ok and she put a brave face on but admitted that they had been having problems ttc and had a go at IVF even that had failed os had pretty much given up on having children. I felt so bad for her, and couldn't believe the others had been going on at her. All cuddling their small babies/ children without a second thought that maybe she may be having problems. Thankfully about 6 months later after giving up on the idea of having children she fell pregnant and now has a beautiful little girl!

People can be so insensitive! When I found out I'm going to have a boy with DS1 I was pretty upset for a couple of days. I remember talking to my neighbor and she said " how is that possible? You wanted a girl!" Naturally she made me laugh but thinking back I guess I'd rather have a clever boy than a thick girl like her! I feel so lucky to have you girls as my friends,in the real world people hardly understand GD or wanting a baby of a certain gender. Of course most of them have kids of both genders so they don't have a right to criticize me over it...

EXCELLENT!!! I would still stay on pelvic rest meaning no sex and take it a bit easy for about a week. That's what I would do.

I already told my husband no sex until after 12 weeks! He's okay with this.

Obviously, I can only rest on the weekends! I don't drive, either, so I am moving during the work week. Well, I'm certainly better this pregnancy than all my others (the two I lost I never took folic acid, and with my son I only started to take it once I found out I was pregnant... this time I've been taking it for months and now I'm taking a prenatal, and I didn't even do a prenatal with my son) so I'm hoping that works in my favor...

so pleased its stopped now, being pregnant is just so worrying!

Some ppl can be so insentive with regards to gender, I would never dream of saying anything to some1 about babys gender!!

I had a moment today whilst shopping in next, I started looking stupidly at baby girl clothes and the couple beside me were buying eveything I wanted..my eyes filled up and I had to get out of there! Really starting to panick now about my scan coming up

That's great news Suregena! Fingers crossed you don't get any more x

Awww Homebirthing, I know what you mean! The stuff in Next is just so sweet! I keep looking on their website and then try and switch to the boy stuff instead :/ What date is your scan? I really hope you see a little girl on the screen so you can relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. x

Thanks mummy, I really hope you and every1 on here gets the gender they want too!
Next is a killer for me I love the babygrows they have some gorgeous girly ones I tried to look at the boy stuff but just didn't feel interested, I know I will love baby what ever its just hard to think ill never have a girl.....I'm not very close with my mum I'm the only girl out of 3 boys (tho my little sister was stillborn) she never wants to do 'mum and daughter' things she didn't even what to come see me try on wedding dress!! I'm sure that's where my GD stems from!

My scan is 10th Oct at 3pm so 2wks weds omg! I said to hubby I don't think I wanna find out and he said I need to for my own sanity, I know he'd love a girl to but I don't think his need is as much as mine xxx
