With all of mine ive been super organised and had everything done by 20 weeks and just piled it all in spare room ready fro when the time comes. Im one of these super organised types - ( typical of a boy mum and i have 3 !!!) and this time around at only 3 weeks gone i have the urge to buy my crib as seen one locally dead cheap !! ha ha how bad is that !!! I weant to try and wait and start at 20 weeks after the scan to give me stuff to look forward to doing but doesnt stop me looking on ebay at baby items !!! ( we got rid of everything after the 3rd boy as didnt think we would have anymore !!) Im hoping this time around we could maybe borrow so we dont need to buy and then sell again as this is definately our last !!!
So are you lot super organised and get everything done early or are you one of these that does it all at 40 weeks >?

I'm kind of some where in between. Early on, I get my list of all the things I *think* I need and then get overwhelmed. So then I push it all to the side until around 20 weeks and then I start thinking and planning again. Usually I do this all the way until delivery.
With DS1, my parents ordered my crib and dresser/changing table for me and something happened that seriously delayed it. I was induced at 37 weeks and the delivery ppl were calling me when I was in the hospital. It was terrible! I had an empty room with just piles of baby clothes, sheets, picture frames, etc. My BFF rushed over to the house and her and her DH put the crib together and set up the room for me. With DS2, I was 100% ready by 37 weeks.
This time around shouldn't be so hard. We moved DS2 into DS1's room last year and we left the crib and dresser/changing table set up. I really don't need much at all. But, my boys were born in fall/early winter and this baby will be born in spring so we will need an entirely new wardrobe.
Not finding out the gender makes me nervous to get anything! I don't know how this is going to work!!(8)

I need new bottles, pacifiers, a new car seat, stroller, and breast pump. Those are my big items! Then I have to dig out the baby swing, pack and play, bouncy chair, bathtub, and bassinet. Talking about it gets me excited! BUT, if it is a girl, I really want all the pink foofie stuff so I really want to hold out on those!

I think I am partially OCD when it comes to being organized LOL just kidding not actually. But I already have everything for this baby - except a toddler bed for DS as he is still in the crib we will use for the baby and I'm not switching him to toddler bed till as long as possible. When we started trying, I started looking at things, most things I found second hand in fabulous condition so I couldn't turn it down. We already have a crib we will use again, got a swing, bassinet, breast pump, carseat LOL not sure what we want to do about a double stroller yet so I am leaving that till later as well! Since our little guy is only 15 months we still have a ton of toys and exersaucer etc
I don't need much more! If baby was coming tomorrow I'd be ALMOST set HAHA!

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.
