Well as my O day should be around the 5th October I thought I would start an October TTC club. I'm optimistic for my pink attempt. What do you think?:
I've been on the LE diet religiously for three weeks now (having not had any breakfast and staying safely under 1600 calories, 50g protein and 50g fat maximum) and have lost about 8lbs! I'm not having any caffeine but am having a bit of red wine here and there; I'm at my lowest ever adult weight with a BMI of 19.7; I'm not taking the numerous vitamins and minerals I normally take; I'm drinking some aspartame drinks, which I've never done before; I'm doing no exercise where I normally would do a modest amount; I'm starting Rephresh tomorrow and going to use every three days; I'm going to take antihistamines (cetirizine) for the five days before O; DH cut down on red meat and caffeine and is drinking 3 cups of peppermint tea a day; DH started FR yesterday (9 days before first attempt) and wears tight-ish pants, but not taking LR as he's 40; planning to DTD on O-2 and on O-1 to increase chances of pregnancy as I don't want to lose too much more weight; not sure which position yet as there doesn't seem to be a consensus.
Have I covered everything? Thanks for any feedback and I look forward to seeing who else is in the October club x

Hi,
I think I'll be joining you too! This would be my second month trying although I think I missed the egg completely last month. My o day changes so much every month that I am either o'ing at the end of September or somewhere in the beginning of October. Your sway sounds good! My dh is not taking LR either sinces he's s smoker and overweight. We are going to do frequent bd everyday through o but im using spermicide on every attempt except for o-1. I only want one attempt for this month but will probably add more if there is another attempt next month. I am also doing Rephresh, peppermint tea. I stopped the vitex for this month since I have been using it for over six months and my last Af was light. I can't afford to lose anymore weight either since my bmi is 16.8 so I need to get preggers fast. I will have been on the diet about twelve weeks by my o day. I hope we both get our bfp's and ofcourse our pink beans! Good luck!

I started the le diet 5 weeks ago. Lost 11 lbs. so far. Just got my second PPAF and am hoping for an attempt this month. Bf'ing my 7 month old (DS3) so my cycles aren't regular. Last cycle I oed on cycle day 25!
Glad to have you ladies to go through this journey with!!!Last edited by Sunflower3; September 29th, 2012 at 10:10 AM.

I am hoping to be joining you in October, also! I just weaned my ds3 at 21 months in mid-August, and I got my first ppaf Sept 3 (although it was only 3 days of light spotting, so I'm not sure....) I was on the mini-pill and took my last pill on Sept. 13. I am really hoping I get AF within the next few days, and I am predicting I could possibly O around October 14. This is all very speculative, though. I am keeping my fingers crossed! I am also going to start temping, but I'm not sure how accurate it will be because I have to get up with my ds3 at night.
I will have been on the LE diet for about 7 weeks by the time I O (if I do O) then. I have lost 13 pounds already, going from a BMI of 23.2 to 21.1. We are not doing FR or abstaining, just dtd as usual, which is mostly every day.

I am. I have lost a lot of weight the last year, and I am down to 2 lbs underweight now. But I only have two more cycles with IUI's, then I move onto IVF, and I won't be on this diet anymore. I also don't follow the diet super closely. I don't eat breakfast, or red meat, but I do eat veggies, chicken, turkey etc. I actually have the diet down to a science now and it has helped my IBS. I don't think I will ever go back to eating how I used to.
