    Passover is almost here!

Most grocery stores carry Matzo, which is a low-sodium unleavened bread, at this time of year. This is a great time of year to stock up on this ingredient which can really help with your sway!!! The most famous brand is Manieschewitz but there are others - ask your grocer.

You know, I swear ive seen that stuff before, but I looked at Walmart today and couldnt find it! Would it be by the breads or crackers? I even looked over by the bakery but no luck. I did find something that were called Masa flatbread crisps, it was like the size of a graham cracker. It has 100 mg of salt, but the wheat kind had less. I was thinking I saw somewhere on here or IG not to eat wheat bread so figured that was a no go!

It is usually its own little section with the ethnic foods but at this time of year, there is often a separate display. For some reason, our local store always carries the matzo with the gluten-free foods??

Ok, I will look some more on the specialty isles! I looked on the ethnic food isle, and thought maybe they would be near the bakery because sometimes they put unique bread items displayed there but nope! Thanks girls I will look some more, Id really like to try it!

It basically a big flat cracker. "Unleavened bread". The jews - once they were freed from slavery- had very little time to get ready and get out of Egypt, and so they didn't have time to let their bread rise. They made matzo instead. So at passover, many Jewish people remember this period of their ancestor's history by only eating matzo or other unleavened foods.
This is a good food not because it's unleavened but because its super plain its like just flour and water or something.

Yes, it has no sodium and it's easy, unlike breads where you ahve to make them yourself, you can just whip one out and spread some sugar free jam or Greek yogurt on it for a quick meal.
