BBT should be more reliable then OPK if you are doing it right ( that's why I'm not even trying....) I'd say by chart you've Oed on CD 16, but Lola is probably right: maybe this cycle your body got very close to O but didn't release the egg.
Don't be desperate, you know your next cycle is just around the corner![]()

I would totally take you up on that! Isn't it funny how we form such good friendships online and never meet each other?
But I think it's pretty common with the older guys. Someone recently told me that I should start watching porn with him. I was like WHAT?? I don't think so, I have ballerinas to make me feel fat and unsexy already!!!!

LOL Lola I think that would be the WORST way to get things going again, at least for your self image at this point! Teensy ballerina handling is enough stress right now ;-) Though I bet he's thrilled to see you pregnant ... I bet he's going to be one of those who just adores your baby belly.

Chunksta... I am not sure you O'd? I know you got the +OPK, but you do not have a clear coverline or a strong thermal shift. I am curious to see what your temps will do over the next few days. Did you have anything stressful happen around the +OPK? That could delay an ovulation possibly.
If I were just glancing at this chart I would say it's anovulatory - but that +OPK is interesting in there...Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:

I remember from our old thread at IG that there was a poster (I want to say Medic? Not that it matters but Lola/Aqua does that sound right?) that went to her OB b/c she'd been TTC for a long time and was told that you CAN have a +OPK during an anovulatory cycle... so maybe that has something to do with it?

Morning girls,
Af has begun! So, the plan is to start taking clearblue digi (free for the research study I am in) at day 6. Glad I have something to pee on everyday.
I had a tickly throat today- so conveniently took some Robitussin. We DTD yesterday and DH was an 8. He has gotten as high as a 8.5, but no 9. Oh well, we are happy with that!TTC Blue!

I think it was Medic (any updates from her?)
And Yup! A +ve OPK does not mean that ovulation is guranteed. A thermal shift is a tru indicator. That being said. I did get smiley OPKs on one cycle and had a similar temp shift and FF did put my O on some Day. Check out this chart, it might give you an idea. I did think I Ovulated that cycle, but since its not a BFP cycle you'll never know.
Chakutsa, for your reference, I have made it the second chart in my homepage here:

Yeah, the OPK books tell that after you get a +ve OPK, just monitor other things to know when you actually ovulated. I could never read my CP properly. So I took 2 OPKs a day until it turned -ve to pinpoint ovulation. Some ladies are pretty good at going by cm and cp after a +ve OPK. The chart will also give you an idea why I took everyday OPKs, I used to get 2 days of +ve OPK and sometimes only 1. So I needed to see it go -ve to pinpoint the day atleast. Hope it helpsLast edited by Aqua; April 20th, 2011 at 09:40 AM.

So does a neg OPK mean O has already occured? I thought I read on IG that it just meant the surge had passed, but you could actually still release the egg after a -OPK. If neg does mean O has occured that would definitely help pinpoint things! I can pretty much tell my O day from my CP though. CM throws me off since my EWCM comes prior to my O, but I can definitely tell a difference in my cervix on my O day.
