Thank you, I'm actually really excited about 3 boys now. I just don't remember my sister and I ever rough housing or anything! We had accidents and such but I have 2 boy cousins that I remember wrestling around and it makes me nervous!!
Well day 2 with no zofran and I'm feeling kinda nauseous. I can handle that for now though!!
Hbp, I'm sure you have your girl!! I wish people wouldn't say things like that!2009

Hb, ignore what people say! The tech knows best as she wouldn't have been so confident if she wasn't sure. I do understand you struggling to believe it though I think I would be just the same. You have spent so much time dreaming about this happening it is hard to believe it actually has. I'm sure the scan in December will show you the definite proof you need and then you can go go go with the girly shopping!! I got a small next catalogue through in the post yesterday and sat cooing at all the gorgeous girls stuff!
Mrhoneyz, I know what you mean but I grew up with just a brother and we used to fight all the time - I even pushed him so hard he went flying and cracked his head on something and had to go to emergency! So girls can be rough too, I'm sure your boys will get on just great together and be best of friends. xxxDS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs

I'm ashamed even to admit this but this is the only place I can!
My really good friend is due her first baby just over a month before me and she has her 19/20 week scan tomorrow. I am really excited for her but at the same time REALLY worried that she will find out she is having a girl and I will find out in a months time I'm having another boy.
I know that is so stupid and crazy, and that ultimately it will all be fine whatever happens but I just can't help feeling like I'm going to cry tomorrow if she texts me to say it is a girl.
I feel like such a horrible person for even thinking that!!! My ideal would be that we both have girls so I should just be over the moon if it is a girl and keep my fingers crossed that I have a girl this time too.
Arrrggghhhh!! GD is so annoying, why on earth do I care so much?!!!DS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs

Mummy pink- please dont feel like a horrible person because you aren't. Before I found out that this little bean was a girl, I wanted anyone I came in contact with that was preg to have a boy and not a girl. It is normal for you to feel that way!!
Our long awaitedis here!!!!!

Thank you lovelies, so glad I have this site you are all wonderful.
Hope you are right hb!
I will let you know what my friend is having tomorrow when I hear, she knows I would love a girl this time and I think she is a bit worried how I will feel if I have a boy and she has a girl bless her. I didn't let on how I was feeling of course and I just said I really hope she has a girl so that even if mine is a boy I have someone to buy girly things for. xxxDS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs

Oh mummy please really do not feel guilty, we all do it, i spent my SIL's entire pregnancy wishing she had a boy - she did.
Its not like your wishing anything horrible on her or awful to happen to her baby, a little boy for her first pregnancy would be lovely, its an amazing bond between mother and son she'd be really lucky x
