This whole thing just really sucks. I wish I had never asked for nub pics or a guess from the tech. I wish I never heard anything!!! One day I am fine with this being boy #3 and then the next I am in tears....UGH! Sorry to vent on you ladies!
Thank you Mrs. P. I know it is early, I just don't see this being a girl!!!

Oh hunny vent away we've all been there or will be soon (maybe me to if i ever get preggers again anyway LOL), its so great having women here who understand (i went through all of this alone with ds3 and it was horrible). What ever happens we will all support you (even if i have to crash your due date thread to do so - sorry everyone else i know i'm not mean't to be on here) and it really is better to deal with this now than have any of it when the baby is born (you'd then have guilt to deal with to). Maybe not knowing is better sometimes but at least if you do you have time to get over it before the baby is born.
Are you booking a gender scan in? or do you have a date yet x

Thank you Mrs. P!!!
I know that I would have to face the music at some point...you can only stay in denial for so long. I guess the good news is that DH has been convinced this is a boy too so he won't think it is strange that I only want to think up boys names or buy boy clothes. I am going to try for a 16 week u/s which would mean Nov. 2 or so. I have my appt. on Tuesday to meet with the doctor and I will schedule it then. Sigh...GD SUCKS. GO AWAY!!!!

Big hugs NC, try not to give up hope and vent away on here. We all totally understand how you feel.
I would have loved an early scan but at the same time I knew I would obsess over the pics like you so you can't win! Part of me wants to not find out at the scan so I can be in denial the whole pregnancy and have longer to fantasise about having a little girl. I know I will have to get my head around it at some point though, far better to have a few tears at this stage and then look forward to having another gorgeous little boy. I'm sure those newborn cuddles are no less precious whatever the gender. Plus the way I thought of thinking about it just now is would I swap one of my boys for a little girl? The answer is a big fat no way!!! So I know even if this is another boy I will love him to pieces and never want him to be anything else even if I do cry a few tears for the daughter I will never have.

Mummypink- I'm the same way with other pregnant people right now, I just can't deal with it (not you girls!)and I just don't have the energy to pretend to be excited when I'm dreading this is a boy. I really hate GD too. My MiL is bugging us to go up for Christmas (9 hours away) but ill be about 18 weeks then, about when we lost our DD and I do not want to be far away from home during that time frame ...ughh.. Besides that clotting disorders and Long car rides don't mix. She's mad bc we never want to go up there I think
Mommy to DS1 (3)DS2 (1 1/2)
angel baby DD lost at 20 weeks
(5/12) and another angel baby DD
at 17 weeks due to ??? (12/12)
Next option will be HT eventually...

Thank you mummypink and spinning you girls are so awesome. I hope you both get DDs!!!!! I guess I just need to remember that I can have a 4th. There is no law against it so I have other options before I throw in the towel completely!!
