Okay girls,
I am swaying for a girl and I just got Af so onto the third month. I felt a little torn but than I received two psychic readings that keeping tell me I will conceive in November and it will be a girl so although I know it's for fun it gives me hope. I have been on the LE diet for over three months and I ovulate late so I know I have to be on this for a while longer. And I don't mind except I can't seem to keep the weight on and I am now nearing a bmi of 15.5. I'm still ovulating but I can tell my body is close to giving up. I don't want to lose my sway and I have considered doing clomid next month. I was given a script for conception of my second son but never got a chance to use it. I know it's a bad idea to use it but I figure I was given it before for an lp issue at the time and I feel the circumstances now are no different. I know this will help my sway but what if I get twins? I can't handle twins. I guess this is my answer but I need reassurance and advice. I am starting to think that I should just continue the diet adding in calories and even gaining a pound or two and just get that egg to the sperm. I was seriously considering clomid but all of a sudden everyone is having twins and that's scared me to death. Any suggestions? Oh and last month I didn't use Zyrtec, I was way too dry and didnt use Rephresh. I did one attempt at 0-1 and used spermicide six hours beforehand. My husband is not swaying at all so no frequent releasing or anything and no LR. We are just dtd at positive opk and it was in boy frequency last month. I don't want to miss the egg and ovulating dramatically different each month makes girl frequency so hard. Do what does anyone think? I need some advice please? I am bit desperate and so scared that I may stop ovulating soon. Thanks.

If your BMI is 15.5 you need to STOP SWAYING IMMEDIATELY. Drop the diet NOW and get some weight back on you and if it means eating 8 Big Macs a day, DO IT.
ANYONE who has a BMI beneath 18.5 needs to drop all sway tactics and just get pg. No antihistamine, no RepHresh, and certainly no spermicide.
I do not want you to start Clomid at this point because I don't want you to get pg until I feel like you are at a healthy weight. You should never use Clomid unless you're ok with twins anyway.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Okay okay lol. I am going to stop losing weight. Believe me I'm trying atomic, it's like no matter how many calories I add its never enough. I look sickly and I hate it. I guess I'll try and gain some and hope and pray I can ovulate next month. I have always been small so I be always ranged between 16 and 17 so this is a big deal but not huge for me. I'm just getting worried about the weight I can't seem to keep on. It makes me wonder if there are other health issues involved sometimes. Either way thanks for the reply, I feel like my mother is yelling at me and that always gives me a push in the right direction.

I really REALLY hope you actually believe what you are posting! How many calories are you eating daily? Because we have seen a few posts along these lines on this board. You're not the only one that's said 'I can't gain no matter how much I eat' and then we hear that that person is eating, like, oh, 800 calories a day. And sorry, I don't buy for a second that your body can't keep weight on, it's eating disorder thinking that's got you trapped and terrified of eating normally. And it doesn't matter if you don't want to eat, if eating makes you ill, if you have no appetite, because you've starved it so badly that you're in famine mode and you will destroy your health *permanently*. Think liver failure, kidney failure, HEART failure, osteoporosis. These things do not go away.
Atomic is absolutely RIGHT, you need to mainline sugar and butter if that's what it takes but get back to normal weight ASAP. If you can't see that 15.5bmi is critically dangerous right NOW you have an eating disorder. Full stop. Btw you'd better hope you're body ISN'T incapable of being at normal BMI because if that was true you have cancer or something else seriously wrong.
Being small is NO excuse for being so critically underweight. I am 5 feet tall, 110lbs, and to maintain - yes MAINTAIN, not gain - I eat 2200-2500 calories. That makes my BMI 21.5. I started the LE diet at 1800-2000 and had to up my calories and fat because I lost enough to stop ovulating, and my BMI is six points higher than yours! So I'd be shocked if you were ovulating normally at 15.5. And I AM small - my measurements are chest = 31.5", waist = 23", hips = 31". This isn't to show off, this is to show you how small does NOT excuse eating disorder behaviour. Just out of curiosity I fiddled with the bmi calculator, and for my height 15.5bmi would be weighing 80lbs. Holy frack I'd be dead at that weight.
Also you don't need to stop losing weight, you need to GAIN weight to get out of the danger zone! If that sounds scary, you really need to get help because that is not okay.Me (38) and DH (38)

I really think it is easy to develop an eating disorder when you follow the diet that strict beeing already underweight. I started loosing weight two month ago and realized that my entire thinking was just to avoid food. BMI 15,5 is really low.

Thanks it's okay I double checked my bmi is more like 16.9 so I'm a bit below my normal range. I have lost only a pound in over five weeks but I just hate that's it's still coming off. Either way I ovulated at this weight over two weeks ago do as long as I maintain I'm sure ill be fine in continuing swaying. I ll keep increasing my fat a bit and add a but more calories to help the scale and continue on. I think I'll just do the vitex and peppermint tea this month without spermicide and Zyrtec. I'll probably just do two attempts and see what happens. I feel good about this month so I appreciate everyone's help! Trust me there's no eating disorder here, I've always been super tiny and I have always maintainedy weight. I have never done a diet before so losing weight so quickly came as a shock to me. Thanks everyone . I think clomid is out this month, but may reconsider next month.

Oh good, you almost gave me a heart attack. Sorry I don't mean to sound like your mom yelling at you but I want everyone to stay healthy above all else. If you can't get pg, you have no chance at your desired gender anyway.
A pound for a thin person is like 5-10 for a heavier person, so even if it's just the pound coming off then you need to add some cals in. Do you like pop?? Drink 3 a day, that always has worked for me keeping my weight on when breastfeeding.
IF you are losing weight with no explanation, then you should see a doctor because it can indicate other problems going on.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I feel bad now that I wrote down the wrong bmi, seriously it was a typo. I'm not saying that my bmi isn't low but it's been this low ever since I hit puberty. I'm fine, seriously. I really was just questioning the clomid. If I had an eating disorder than I wouldn't be swaying. I'm A mother of two boys , three and under and would never put my health at a risk in that way. I started out at 17.1 before swaying so as you can see i haven't lost that much but trying to figure out calories that work is not working for me. I am at 2,000 calories according the fitness pal and the weight is not moving really. It's just A matter of I hate adding when my goal was to swsy for a girl on this diet. I think you can understand that. I'm fine and thanks for the concern everyone. I'm just A pink swayer who started out at a much lower bmi than most people. It's not my fault, it's genetics!!

Sorry as, while I have you here though quick question, last month I stopped saw palmetto and dropped vitex for the month since my periods were light ( I was on vitex for almost six months). Now this month my period seems back to normal so is adding it back a good idea? I will do the peppermint tea but I wasn't quite sure about the vitex? My goal this month is to just just try and get preggers!! No jump and dump and maybe even add more attempts. I want to get pregnant quick because I feel that this may be my lady month on a strict LE diet. Thanks and sorry for worrying you!

Well, 16.9 is still too low. If you are at low end of normal or underweight you should NOT be losing weight, period. Especially if you recognize that you look sickly and feel like crap. It's still LE diet (and diet =/= losing weight, it just means a methodology of eating!) if you gain a bit of weight to get healthy by eating LE friendly foods! In other words, ice cream, treats, white carbs, full fat dairy.
It's not only ovulation that's an issue at too low a weight, but also a threat to the health of the baby if you do get pregnant. It's far better to be TOO heavy than too light when pregnant as far as the health of the fetus is concerned. I still think you need to gain weight until you're at LEAST at 18.5bmi.Me (38) and DH (38)
