That's so awesome cinns! Wish there was something like that here! You get to see your bubba for so long.
My scan is literally going to be about 5-10mins, no DVD, not even sure I will get a photo, but it was the cheapest elective I could find.
Does your Dp want to know?

First appointment went well.
I mentioned to them that the prenatal I'm taking contains some vitamin A (not from the Retinol type... I think it's more from vegetables/fruit because it's a raw prenatal, which I tried to explain but explained badly! I should have brought them with me) and she said that in the UK NO vitamin A should be taken. I figured because this is a raw prenatal with its vitamin sources from vegetarian foods it should be okay? I guess I'll have to show them. I suppose, personally, I feel like it is likely okay... as it is not vitamin A from the sources they warn against and is from things I would eat in a normal diet, anyway. But, ooooof! Then on the other hand, I worry that I've doomed my baby... but if that was the case, we'd never eat any vegetables/fruit with vitamin A in it during pregnancy! I think she thought it was like the vitamin in a prenatal form, which it sort of is, but the prenatal is a RAW prenatal, so it is packed full of WHOLE foods, not just straight-up vitamins... if that makes sense...2010 - 1 DS

Ok ladies, no easy way to say it: we're having a BOY! I actually took it fairly well, I thought I saw his boy parts on the screen , so when the doc broke the news it was no surprise. On the way home I felt like crying for a moment before calling my mom to tell her, but I got over it. We're both a bit disappointed, but no major GD for now

So sorry it isn't a girl Grace but huge congrats on your baby boy, so glad you are taking it well but don't be afraid to have a good cry if you need to. Far better to get it out of your system and then look forward to meeting your gorgeous little man.

Thanks girls, I'm really touched by your sympathy , Your comments almost made me cry, but I think I'll be ok soon. Trying to focus on how great my boys are. Yesterday I picked up DS2 (he wasn't feeling well) and he said: 'oh, mommy' and gave me this huge hug and patted me on my shoulder.. What more can I ask for?
