That could be true. It is the kind of woman that makes sure she gets enough nutrients etc. ... but the ladies who had failed sways did change their food intake...

I think it goes beyond just food intake though...it's def. a group not necessarily indicative of the population as a whole. Only about 15-20% of the population breastfeed past a year (at least in the US, Canada, and Aus) and yet there sure seem to be a lot of pink swayers in that category. Way more than 15-20%.

Among "attachment parents" who tend to be a different demographic category in terms of socioeconomic status and education than the average person, breastfeeding at 1 year was done by 83%. More "attachment parents" were BF at one year than the entire population did at birth. Higher socioeconomic status and higher levels of education are both affiliated with more sons being born (please no one take offense, this is a fact and not my opinion.)

I think Pangea is correct in that just because there is (IF there is) a correlation in failed sways and breastfeeding, this does not necessarily indicate that breastfeeding sways blue. Biologically, breastfeeding affects the body in ways that would tend to sway pink and it may simply be that ladies who tend to BF longer are more set for blue to start off with.

If you start off with 75% odds of a boy and then end up with 70% odds of a boy because of breastfeeding, the breastfeeding still swayed pink for you, even if you went onto conceive a boy for other reasons. (this is an example only, these numbers are meaningless.)
