Ok so now I think I have heard it all! I just read something saying that there may be something to the months in which you conceive and the gender you will get. Is there any truth to this? I am on the LE Diet and am doing EVERYTHING in my power to sway for a little girl but my hubby and I were going to attempt in the winter months. We originally thought maybe Feb-March 2013 but I think all the talk has both of us wanting to push it a little closer (baby fever) say around Dec 2012 or January 2013! Are these so called boy months??
I should mention that my 3 boys were conceived in April, December and late Feb, however with them I was really on the boy diet and had no ideaThis time I am doing things a lot different.....do I have to wait now??
Please give me some encouragement that it's still ok to go ahead here soon and it wont totally ruin the sway![]()
Thanks All!!!

Girls and boys are conceived every month. There are peak girl months and boy months, but they don't sway as much as diet and other things. The peak boy month is October, and the peak girl month is April.

I doubt there's much correlation, tbh. I conceived my boys in 'girly' months anyways - mine were conceived in late May, Feb and April. Winter boy babies goes against this seasonal gender sway theory and yet two out of three of mine are winter babies!
So, I really don't think it sways much IME.Me (38) and DH (38)

Full explanation is here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...s-swaying.html
I didn't want to believe it either just because the very idea annoys me, but there does seem to be something to it. This was by far the hardest thing for me to accept of anything having to do with swaying.
It is NOT a magic bullet, you will find many boys conceived in girl months and girls in boy months and everything in between. I myself have two March-conceived boys and got my girl in Nov. But statistically there is a trend there and it's something that can't hurt, and may help, and I want people to know about it so they can include it in their sway if they so desire. You don't have to wait at all, but if you wanted to start off doing a very very strict sway in Dec/Jan and then gradually loosen up by the time Feb/Mar roll around, then you can feel ok with it if you don't get pg with such a strict sway the first couple months.!!!
