Becca, definately have cheese!! The majority of us are big believers in the calcium for boys ideas, rather than calcium for girls. the more nutrients the better
Green tea is probably the best but keep ypur folic acid high as it has been linked to birth defect through low folic acid. But in general all traditional teas are antioxidants so good for blue. I think there is a thread on teas somewhere isnt there?? I'll see if I can find it.

I'm so happy to hear that about cheese! I've been having full fat greek yogurt with fruit and granola every night but was staying away from milk and cheese. I think my first snack will be apple and cheese! Thanks ELP and Cinss!

Good to know about the RRL tea, I think I still have some left from my pregnancy! So, it seems I should give up coffee and soda, right? Oh boy, that's a hard one.

Yes, on the coffee and soda.
Coffee was the hardest for me. I had quite and addiction going on with mochas!
I've decided to officially do my attempt in Dec., instead of next week, to be on the diet longer etc. My husband didn't agree to wait at first but came around. He's eager to try again!
I was looking through some of the sways and sways in progress. I was going to add mine --- is it a form you fill out or just type out what you're doing?

Hi ELP!!
How is sway #2?? Eating all those nuts and bananas are making sooo full! I am up 3-4 pounds and hopefully I can keep it here with exercise! I am well. Have been super busy with uni + working full-time! AHHHH.
This is practice month #2 and I am hoping to sway next cycle. I have been on the diet about 3-4 weeks so it will be 6 by the time I do my first attempt. My ovulation and cycles are never regular, so that is always a problem, hence the reason why I am doing another test month!Last edited by Sonia2003; October 31st, 2012 at 03:46 PM.

Calcium questions for everyone!
I am still stuck on the calcium thing. I know the older studies show calcium for a pink sway and the newer ones its a blue sway....but how is everyone deciding on what to do?
I have a protein shake which I LOVE, and I have given up during my blue sway as it was 50% calcium and 20% magnesium. My prenatal also has 23% calcium.
My nails were so nice and strong which never happens for me, and now they are all broken and brittle and my skin has been horrible since Ive stopped my protein shake...I am so stuck if I should just not take it for my sway or if I should add it back in.........Ive already been without it for about 3-4 weeks....HELP!
