I am confused can I eat sweets then while TTC a girl. When you say sweets I assume you mean low fat lollies etc not cakes, biscuts, slices. Am I correct? I have been eating lollies like snakes so would be great to know that is OK.

well there are lots of fat free ice cream, cakes, cookies, snacks, and candys. I have some chocolate mints 5 of them less that 1 gram protein and only 2 grams of fat. We have a lot of choices these days. wondering though if we are supposed to keep our blood sugar down does all this candy help? becasue we eat it then crash? I don't know how all that works?

I am a mom of two boys, and I have always eaten a LOT of sweets. HOWEVER, I also ate a lot of protein so that's probably why I have 2 boys.

I am going to still eat sweets when TTC a girl, but obviously within the limits of the diet!

you have up to 60 g fat to play around with, and if you'd like to "spend" some of them on cakes, biscuits, and slices, that's fine.

Exactly! Plus, if you eat a lot all day long, that can sway blue anyway.

You are keeping your blood sugar down most of the day by skipping breakfast and avoiding snacks. It's ok to eat sweets with meals, just not every 15minutes the whole day. Yes, your blood sugar rises temporarily after eating, then it drops afterwards. The point of sweets is that they're a high carb, usually low protein/nutrient way to keep your weight up.
