YOU CAN DIE!!!!! I'm not kidding, you need potassium NOW.

It won't keep you from conceiving to the best of my knowledge but it can make you have a fatal heart arrhythmia and keel over dead before anyone even has a chance to revive you.

All low carb vegetables have potasssium and are FREE on LE Diet. You do not need to count their cals, protein, or fat. Have as much as you want, no limits.

Fruits and high carb veg are free for protein and fat, but you do count calories. Also great sources of potassium.

Coconut water is another great source of potassium. for 75 cals and hardly any protein, you get an easy 600 mg potassium. The Taste Nirvana brand is good, the others taste like a gorilla's armpit (but are still great sources of potassium!)

V8 juice, I usually do not recommend for pink swayers because it's so nutritious but you NEED some potassium right now, so I think it's well worth it. V8 is available everywhere while coco water can be harder to find.

Don't worry about going over on salt - if you need a cheat, sodium is by far your best option.

In the Dream Members section there is a thread called "quick fixes for diet disasters" that has a list of foods that can help you meet various dietary needs.

Lentils are good, so I cooked up a bunch with some girl friendly low nutrient veggies and keep eating them for dinner but they taste crap! Dying here!

Atsaukina1 do you mean coconut milk? Where do you get coconut water? Never heard of it before, I'm in a small country town in Australia, may have to hunt it down when we are in the city next. We do buy coconut milk for cooking curries etc... would that be the same?
Bananas are FINE when TTC a girl. The only reason they are "forbidden" on IGD/FGD is because they have potassium, so if you're not getting enough potassium, they're allowed - see what I mean?? They are NOT magical boy making foods and I ate them a lot when TTC my DD.

Lentils are ok as long as they fit in your day's totals but they do have a lot of protein.

    Coconut water I'll chase up.

Potato is under the 'only eat occasionally' category for LE diet, so I'm consuming only every so often buy yes they have great levels... However I ate lots of potato when I conceived my two ds's so I won't be upping that too much.

Same with bananas, I ate them so often before I kind of see why they aren't on the girl diet...
On the LE Diet, pineapple, potato, and banana are all 1000% allowed as long as they fit in the overall totals of the diet.

The thread I think you read was an attempt to lump all the diets together into one and it yielded a diet so restrictive that it was next to impossible to follow.

You have to count the cals in all three but they have next-to no pro or fat so they are free for protein and fat.

My daughter is 30% potato LOL

High Potassium Food List - Foods Rich in Potassium
Oh, great point!!! Potassium does not legally have to be listed on labels so you may be getting more than you even realize. It's in many foods and dairy is a great source, so if you're eating dairy and your total is at 0, then it's not counting your potassium.

    http://genderdreaming.com/forum/payments.php

Here is the link to the paying part, but if you want to look at the info and see a sample plan and read some q's people have asked, go back to the main page and there's a whole forum called "custom sway plan and coaching info" or something along those lines. There's a brochure that tells about the service, a sample plan, a place to ask q's, etc.

Mrs. Dash is high in K+ I believe. Careful, high K+ levels can also cause fatal cardiac arrythmias!

It's much harder to get TOO much K+ through diet than it is to take in too little.

getting too high of potassium (via diet, that is) is very difficult to do unless you have something physically wrong with you or are taking medications that can interfere with your body's functioning, because your body can just excrete whatever excess potassium there is. Whereas if you don't get enough (which can happen on LE Diet), you can die, your body can't really store potassium like it can some other nutrients and so it can run out unless you're getting enough.
