It is the kind of stress that matters and also how you respond to stress both physically and mentally. Boy moms tend to be more high-strung and tightly wound (tend to get carried away, obsess over tiny details and be control freaks) than girl moms do.

PLEASE PLEASE do not start worrying about the level of stress in your normal, day to day life. You cannot control that. What you need to look out for is the kind of obsessive, detail oriented stress that comes from pressuring yourself to attain goals and launching into nitpicky projects that matter a lot to you - like swaying. DO NOT obsess over swaying, don't launch into big projects like making color coded charts about your CM consistency and pH (yes, people used to do this back on IG). Those are the things that are going to sway blue for you. Worrying about your day to day life and trying desperately to control that is only going to stress you out further and raise your T levels.

For me personally, I am VERY high strung and tightly wound. VERY. I am always one minor disaster away from a freakout meltdown and my husband's "affectionate" nickname for me is "Twitch". Constantly uptight and stressed out all the time over all sorts of little things and I have the 4 boys. Then, last year, I suddenly had a lot of very serious stress and it was all things I was totally helpless to do anything about. At first I was my normal control-freak self but over the months I got really hopeless and defeated - I was still totally stressed out, but it was just a totally different feeling than my normal response. I was really mellow and fatalistic about it. it was a feeling I had never experienced before and lo and behold, I did get a girl.

Yeah, I don't disagree with that - confrontation and conflict can def. raise T.

You ahve to be careful, though, because if you are chronicaly stressed out, your body can get "tired" and end up producing less T overall over the course of time.

Thanks ago,if, it's much clearer now. And I also have so,etching to blame if my sway fails, because I'm exactly like you, I laughed so hard at the nickname twitch. I can be mellow about big things but love organisation and can imagine doing colour codes charts and for example I'm a POAS and opt addict. Those little details and obsessiveness over what I can control.

Am trying to curb it! It's like going against my DNA! Hoping this doesn't sway as much as diet and so on.

About to post a new topic about frequency and its importance, would love your input.

Yeah, DON'T try to curb it, it won't work anyway and may even backfire because you'll be all like, OMG I'M STRESSED I HAVE TO CALM DOWN!!

The good news is there have been successful sways even among the worst of the stress/obsess set so I know it's possible. I do think it's the singlemost common reason why otherwise good sways produce opposites, tho.

Just noticed my typos above, thanks iPad, not! Glad it was decipherable. Thanks for the advice re stress, I will try and think positive that I'm doing everything else possible to sway so its the thing I can't control and I won't worry about it.

Atomic, lol I just love you. What you wrote above about your personality and how you handle stress reminds me so much of myself. I'm super high strung and detail oriented as well. Gah. I get sick of myself sometimes and I'm sure my DH tires of me too. I call myself "insufferable" and try to fake being more chill than I am haha. I have one DS so far. Girl sway attempt slated for not this cycle, but likely the next. I'm a SAHM right now, but might take on some consulting work. I don't honestly know if the work will lower my stress by giving me something else to focus on besides the various things I obsess about or just add to the load. I'm currently worried about my baby inhaling wood smoke from our neighbor's outdoor fireplace and spazzing out over getting our home properly insulated and last night that combined with my usual stressors had me feeling defeated/deflated/depressed. BLAH.

Anyhow, yeah...I just adore you and your posts. Sorry if that sounds stalkerish. I assure you I'm mostly normal and not a Nutter Butter (besides the aforementioned Nuttery Butteration, of course). ;-)
