My tech had never heard of such a thing and thought I was referring to an old wives tale, so she would not guess, but she did go along and get a good shot for me.
Here's the official nub shot, although the umbilical cord was a little in the way at first... you can still see it, the three parallel lines. The nub is just after those.

Thanks everyone... seems to be a consensus! That was my first thought as well, but then again what do I know! I look forward to reporting back after our gender scan a in couple weeks.
