Hi there! I am in your same exact boat! I was expecting to get my smiley face on Thursday or Friday of this week but instead got it today at 1:30pm. I was completely stressed about that right away because it just threw my whole plan for a loop but now I am just excited about the opportunity to get pregnant (hopefully with our little boy).

I am taking the advice of others on here and we are going to BD tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow evening, and possibly Thursday morning depending upon my CM and how long I get the smiley faces for. We are going to use Preseen each time. I am just hopeful that the smiley face is accurate...since I really wasn't expecting to get it this early. I am thinking the green tea, EPO, and Fish Oil threw mine off! What are you thinking you will do? When are you going to start and what is your BD plan?

If you got your positive at 11:25am, im guessing you will OV at around 11:30am tomorrow morning, i would do a morning attempt at around 4-5am and that will put you nice and close to OV. Also doing a morning attempt has higher sperm count and you are alrady on day5....
Just a thought though - just wanted to add my 2 cents
Maybe do BSF 2 hours prior to your attempt and if you do go with the morning attempt, have something to eat 1 hour before to get your blood sugar levels up nice and high

I would DTD tonight and tomorrow and keep going until your OPK's go negative

This site toally contridicts ingender LOL i like how the 2 are completley different.
Ingender suggests you do 1 attempt for a boy and 1 only.... I was under the impression that DTD more then once puts you into girl zone?

    Who knows!!!
Mumma to and and a blue sway baby on the way!

Owing it all to the man upstairs!

1 shot on O would be Shettles Method, nothing wrong with trying that but chances of falling pregnant are greater if you have a few attempts and here we believe that the more sperm you have going for the egg the better chance a boy will be conceived.

Also girl zone is less sperm, the ladies have their DHs frequently release so much leading up to O that by the time they have the attempt there is less sperm, and on top of that they jump and dump so even less have a chance, and then there are the gels and stuff they use too.

So basically timing isnt the the big issue its amount of sperm that you have running the race that can sway

Ok ladies - ONE more question. I took 2 more OPK's last night, one at 6pm was positive and one at 9:30pm was negative. Hubby and I BD last night around 10pm. I woke up in the middle of the night around 3am and took my temp and it was 98. Every day prior I was about 97.18. I took it again a few times at about 4am, 5am, 6am and I am now at about 97.86. Does it look like I OV early this morning? Should we still BD one more time this morning or should we just hope and pray from the one time that this will be our month? TTC a boy! Thanks so much!

I would think that the 9:30pm negative could have been from being too dilute....I would do another OPK test and see if it's still high and def BD again this morning One question, had you been using the OPK's prior to the 1:30 positive test or was that the first test of the month?

Hi! I did take 2 different brands of OPK's this morning and both were negative. We did decide to BD one more time this morning, though, because I took my temp last night before BD and it was 96.90 at 10pm so clearly I hadn't OV yet, so even if I did overnight we still should not have been in 0+12 zone. After reading a lot on here, I am starting to believe that the timing really doesn't play a big part anyway and honestly, we wanted to have 2 attempts this cycle since my smiley face came so early and caught us off guard.

I had tested prior to the 1:30pm smiley face yesterday by the evening before and it was negative. So, the surge must have happened yesterday morning.
