Need Clear Answer's to my questions Please!!!!

6 weeks prior to your first attempt, take vitex and saw palmetto for about 2 weeks starting at AF and ending 10-14 days later (stop it a couple days before you expect to ovulate). then stop it for the remainder of your cycle. Then the next cycle, take it AGAIN for another 2 weeks or so starting CD 1.

If you wanted to get pg in April, start the V and SP in Mar. First cycle don't ttc, we're just giving the herbs time to work.

The reason I mentioned taking vitex for 3 months (and I did explain this in your other thread) ... is because it can take up to 3 months to really do its thing to your system. Vitex and Saw Palmetto will CHANGE your cycle somewhat, so the fact that vitex won't harm anything makes it ok to start sooner rather than later and give it a real chance to work well. Saw Palmetto is not ideal to take for months and months on end. It needs 6 weeks minimum to do what it is going to do, so if you take it for 2 weeks of AF-O (or day before O as Atomic suggested) and then have a 2 week break, and then once AF resumes again take it for the other 2 weeks (ish) you will have done what is required to make it effective for swaying. Does that make sense? sorry if you felt my answer was a little ambiguous .. I'm a girl swayer too and have been reading up atomic's essays since early this year. I sometimes even now find myself confused and bewildered by certain aspects of swaying.. So I get that it's a bit to take in.

That's my shortcoming entirely, we've learned new things as we go along and I've figured out new ways to explain things, so desperately need to go thru and reedit everything for max. clarity.

Thanks it's just hard to get a plan down when you get different advise from everyone and it doesn't help me out so thats why I wanted to know what is the best way to take V. Like I said before I'm not too big on girl boy months my husband and I just decided April this last summer and thats our plan and Atomic said it's a great month, it's not like I had a different month to try and conceive and then changed it we had April planned out already. And what results am I looking for when I start Vitex to know it's working?

That's because we don't know what is best. You ahve to make the decision on what feels right in your gut because we just do not know.

Vitex can affect your moods either positive or negative, moves your O date, makes you have worse O pain, and can make AF lighter, but we have no idea whether those things indicate it's working or if it starts working for you right away.

You do such a great job and are constantly helping everyone Atomic, having to repeat stuff over and over again and always so patient. I don't know how you do it all. If people still feel confused they can always buy a personalised sway plan!
