So the top one is Monday.
The 2 in the middle are from yesterday.
The bottom 2 from today.
I was trying a 6 day abstain with a one time shot. We BD'ed late Monday night because at the time I thought it was positive-grrr.We both have been sick with cold/sore throats this week so it has not been easy.
I still have some wet CF. haven't had EW since Monday. I know if I BD tonight, it puts my sway in boy territory. I just saw a quote from Atomic that said "BD every 2-4 days will NEVER sway pink".
If we BD tonight, I will just assume boy for us then (if I get pregnant). That on top of my extra EWCM this month, which I never get and just feeling like I have a sex drive which is rare too. I am coming off a chemical pregnancy so maybe I am just extra fertile.
I don't really want to wait another month because I would probably have to skip December because we are traveling for the holidays and then if I wait til Jan and I don't get pregnant, the gap between my kids keeps growing. I am feeling so down about this all!

A picture of my OPK's and some questions

I answered your other post on the other opk thread.
In summary, the second one from the top is your first +OPK. If you want to keep your abstain strategy you can't bd again. If you bd again tonight you will up your chances of bfp but you'll also undo all the benefits of abstaining and possibly sway blue. So up to you!

Thanks Lace Princess, appreciate it. I do not get notifications for some reason and I posted here in case people did not go into that thread. Thanks for responding. I have noooooo clue! My husband is coming home sick from work so I doubt he will want to BD. I know this is up to me, it's just such a hard decision. Wish I had a crystal ball, ya know? I did not know about swaying with my DD and I kinda wish I didn't know now

I didn't know you already had a DD. Well in that case, lol, you certainly have a huge advantage over most of us! At least you know you CAN conceive pink!

Yes, I do but I was SHOCKED to have her because of so many factors including my husbands extremely male dominant family. Looking back, I conceived her after a 7 day abstain on the day of O (I know this based on a very early ultrasound) and we used pre seed! Doggy style, my husband lifts weights, it was summer, we ate a mixed boy and girl diet and I was walking miles daily. But I feel like my body has changed--we eat way better now (very high nutrients). I would love love love to have another girl, a sister for my daughter. We are only having one more child.
I know some of you are trying to conceive a daughter after several boys and I know it must sound silly for me to try so hard for another when I already have one. But I have my reasons too. I feel very blessed and I am sure I would be happy to have a boy. Thank you.

Gosh, np.
And you certainly don't need to sound sorry for wanting another girl. It's not like someone else having girls takes one away from me or anything.
It does sound like you guys were inadverdently doing SO much pink friendly stuff before though. I hope you can make another DD! It's difficult since as time passes our bodies/fertility/chemistry changes too. If anything, though, getting older can only help you.
GL deciding what to do, but I really really think you need to just stop at one attempt and see what happens. Abstaining obviously worked for you before and I think you'll regret it if you rushed things early on when you could've afforded to be more conservative.Me (38) and DH (38)

So based on all my information, it looks like I have a decent chance of conceiving? I just hope there is sperm in there waiting so I can conceive. If you really think that yesterday's OPK's count as my first positive.
This cycle:
--5/6 day abstain
--BD'ed Monday night at 11 pm
--First positive 3 pm on Tuesday
--Positives again today, Wednesday
--Low temp today
--continued Wet CM
--took baby aspirin, folic acid, and Zyrtec, no breakfast, ate LE
--my husband does not take any vitamins but he does drink a ton of coffee and works out and eats low calorie meals but healthy. He does drink beer a few times a week.
--we have both been a bit sick this week.
--More CM than I have EVER have, increased sex drive too.
--coming off a chemical pregnancy 15 days ago--this is what makes me a bit nervous because of course I just want to have a healthy baby, ya know? I was taking prenatals and eating a high nutrient diet when I thought I was pregnant for 1.5 weeks
What do you think knowing all of that?

You had a good sway.
I can't say you'll conceive with any certainty. Remember that everything we're doing to sway girl reduces our fertility somewhat, so it can take longer than you'd expect. And, that normally healthy fertile couples still take 6-12 months on average to conceive.
I think you should just leave it at the one attempt this month, yes. I do think you'd be second guessing yourself and regretting that you weren't more patient if you went ahead and bd'ed again and got your bfp, knowing that that would undo your abstain benefits. It's really best to start out as conservative as you can stand, and then if you don't get your bfp in 2-3 cycles slowly start dropping things that are too restrictive.
Ideally, I would have had you wait to BD with a one-shot attempt after your first +OPK, which is to say Tues night. Having said that you can't change it now, and you can also count on sperm being viable for 48 hours for sure. So as long as you O today/tonight you're still in excellent shape. Sperm can live up to 4-5 days but of course as guys get older that gets less true.
If you don't get your temp rise tomorrow and subsequently get fading/neg OPK's too then you're looking at a false surge and no ovulation yet, but you have to wait and see what happens in the next few days!Me (38) and DH (38)

Yeah, I really wish we would have waited to BD on Tuesday morning or night but we were both feeling crappy
I would feel MUCH better about this sway then!
I swear I am feeling some twinges/burning right now. I have never felt O pains so I am not sure if that is what this is. If so, then that would be under 48 hours.
I have said this before, but I am really wanting to get pregnant because my DD will be 3 in the spring. And I worry about swaying next month if I dont get pregnant now--christmas and traveling. FINGERS CROSSED
