So I have been having a lot of what I've called EWCM, very stretcy, but it's not clear. Is this still OK for TTC? I am starting to get concerned that may be part of me not getting pregnant yet. Any ideas? Does it have to be clear?

EWCM too thick?

Are you checking internally or just what you see on the tp when you go to the bathroom?
The most fertile CM should be clear, or at least translucent. If it's opaque creamy/white/yellowish then it counts as creamy, not EW. It's hard to say whether that'll stop you conceiving as it really depends on the individual.
Are you sure you're O'ing? I usually get very stretchy but opaque mucous in my LP. My CM during O time is always crystal clear or mostly translucent even if there isn't that much of it.Me (38) and DH (38)

I'm checking internally. Some months I've noticed it more clear, and I am getting a thermal shift, although I haven't yet this month. Today was def creamy, not stretchy at all. I guess the best way to describe what I had the past couple of days was very stretchy, and kinda opaque, like snot. Gross I know.

Oh please, nothing's TMI when it comes to TTC.
It doesn't sound like you're fertile yet, is all. Give it some time, right now that sounds like infertile creamy mucous. Mine goes clear starting about 2 days before I get a +OPK but everyone's different. If you're monitoring cervical position/opening that can help pinpoint things better too since the LE diet can dry up CM.Me (38) and DH (38)

I can never tell on the cervical position, opening, etc. I never O very late and today is definitely just creamy, no stretch at all. I had some O pain the past couple of days as well. I think that I either O'd early today or I won't O this month...

Nah, you never know. Too soon to throw in the towel!
The LE diet and aspartame can dry you up anyways, so CM starts becoming an iffy sign to depend on if you're swaying girl.
Hang in there.Me (38) and DH (38)

It can have opaque streaks and bits in it. Also, I don't think you're using Rephresh this month but RepHresh can mess with yoru CM and make it look weird.
Any chance that what you're seeing is leftover semen?
Also, sometimes you have some better quality CM up inside than what actually finds its way out.
The IG crew would be very thrilled with that CM - they think that creamy CM sways pink.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Definitely wasn't mixed with semen as I checked before we dtd. I think it was just way too stretchy to be considered creamy, but maybe the opacity (is that a word? lol) was just part of it, kwim? Either way it is what it is and I can't do anything about it this month. If I don't get preggo this month the pressure will be on as I am getting closer and closer to my bday. Some bday present that will be if I don't get preggers, huh? Turning 40 and giving up a dream of another baby. Hmph. On the bright side at least my cycles are pretty short (not a short luteal phase though) so I can get in more cycles than some.
