Our son is named Ryder, and we have heard of a few other girls with the same name!! Although my concern with that would be the sexual jokes in high school etc. I guess we don't really mind our son going through that, but I'd hate my daughter or a little girl to haha! If that makes sense?
We have already got the joke "Ryder? What's his last name.. harder?"

we love jordan and sydney for a girl--we said with our first if it's a girl we would name it sydney jordan. Now we aren't sure what we will do if we have a girl, but may still use that name

Those are all great suggestions everyone!! I know- it's silly to want to name a girl with a boy name when I already have two boys! It seems like there's a big move toward the old-time girly girl names right now like Pearl, Grace, Rose, Vivienne, Nora, Mabel, etc. Funny how the trends go. I hadn't thought of Dallas for a girl which is cute! And TRL- I love Kennedy. So cute. Cvd- I had actually thought of Ryder before and thought about the same exact sexual connotation given she's a girl. Like people would say things like "her name is Ryder? So are you going to Ride Her?". Not cool for a girl! :-)
Anyhow- I'm just hoping something will stick out once I meet her at least :-).
Thanks so much for all of your help!Proud Mom to my gorgeous2008, and
2010. Lights of my life!!
Pretesting "normal". FSH 7.5

I love Elliott for a girl. Always have. It was our main choice had our second been a girl. But we did chose a more classical girl name for our daughter on the way. My tastes just changed. But I still love Elliott.
A: "Owner" of the following brood:
-Our biggest surprise dude (L: 2009)
-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)
-Our lucky charm guy (S: 2015)
We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

I am just seeing this hoping, I am so happy to hear that someone is having the same debate as me. I have loved only one name since before I was pregnant and it is a boys name. I think having had 3 boys, I would want a real girly, girl name but I just can't find one.
My kids names are a little bit out of the ordinary, but easy to spell and say, just not an everyday kid name.
Anyway, I love the name Spencer, I like Spence or Penny for short, but just don't know if I can go there with a boys name for girl.
I too love Emmerson, but that is ds2's middle name (I also wish I kept his first name for a girl, it is a boys name that can be used for a girl) and I have a niece Charlie.
I also liked Peyton, but friend of mine just had her 4th boy and he is Peyton so I am not sure.
I did think if I named her Spencer, I could give her a nice girly middle name like Grace?
Oh and Kennedy was on our list, very cute, but I am not sure about it's shortened version.13 years
