Well I've had a rough 24 hours. Spent almost all Christmas Day vomiting. And it wasn't anything I've eaten as I only tried sipping water and eating fruit and light/plain foods. No traditional Christmas foods this year. I ended up getting Hubby to take me to hospital last night as I couldn't keep water down, had a massive headache, blurred vision, dehydrated and very weak. Also had blood coming up with my vomit, most likely burst capillaries from the violent vomiting and stomach wrenching. Well they gave me a Zophran wafer I think it's called and it helped right away and some hydrolite icepops were able to keep down after taking it. So after that got sorted I was able to leave and came home and had a much needed rest. Had another sleep with DS3 this afternoon so feeling a little better.

Hi, everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas! We definitely did. It was very busy, and I was getting over being sick, but it was still very nice. I love spending this time of year with family, it's always so special. Santa was so good to the kids (a little too good ) and he was definitely good to hubby and me, too!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much on here lately. I try to keep up, but after being so sick with nausea and unbearable daily headaches in the first trimester, I was hoping I'd be able to start chatting more often. It didn't work out that way though, as I came down with bacterial bronchitis right as I started the second trimester. I can't remember the last time I was this sick, it was terrible, and couldn't have come at a worse time (the week before Christmas, ugh). I'm finally starting to feel a bit better now, but it was only after I finally broke down and called my OB and they gave me a prescription for an antibiotic to get rid of all the green stuff I was hacking up (sorry, so gross and TMI). Ugh, it's been a rough few months, but I really hope the worst is over now. I hope everyone else is staying healthy!!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that we had another scan at 16 weeks exactly, and it was confirmed that we're having boy/girl twins. We announced to family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We put one pink and one blue balloon in a box, wrapped it, and had someone in the family open it and then just let everyone figure it out. It was so funny to watch them realize what we were trying to tell them. My MIL went absolutely nuts - I have the funniest video of her screaming with excitement, LOL. Of course, my FIL just *had* to make another stupid comment, when he said to me: "Well, at least I got half of what I wanted. I was really hoping for two girls."

Mrs_P did you tell your family over the holiday? If you did how did it go. I am still waiting but I don't think we will be able to wait much longer.

    Hi ladies,

    Merry Christmas to all!

Well I had my 2nd u/s today.... TWINS! Identical too... I was shocked, as I had a scan at 6 wk 3 days and it revealed only 1... They missed the other baby?! I cried and laughed, was pretty hysterical really. The thought of the possibility of 4 boys scares me...Eek.
Will post some pics when possible, don't think there is a good nub shot though. There is a rounded bump on one twins area, so perhaps boys?

Hope everyone is enjoying the festive season, love to all XX
    Update! Identical twin girls!
