Hi ladies,

Merry Christmas to all!

Well I had my 2nd u/s today.... TWINS! Identical too... I was shocked, as I had a scan at 6 wk 3 days and it revealed only 1... They missed the other baby?! I cried and laughed, was pretty hysterical really. The thought of the possibility of 4 boys scares me...Eek.
Will post some pics when possible, don't think there is a good nub shot though. There is a rounded bump on one twins area, so perhaps boys?

How exciting Maple!! That is kind of crazy that they didn't pick up the other baby on US at 6 wks. Did you have any idea that you might be having twins? I really hope you get two little twin girls!!

I've been a bit sick last few days (nothing like some of you have been going through...) and have over indulged a little. Back on the horse over the weekend. Not going to get fatty boombah this pregnancy!!! 7 weeks tomorrow!

Does seem to be lots of twins doesnt there ? Sadly I wont be one carrying them any longer but wish everyone else happy and healthy pregnancies. Just so sad today - sorry girls :-(

maple- wow congrats!! does seem like there are a lot of twins on here huh? weird

mum- so sorry I can't imagine. I remember you saying the vanishing twin was something like 80% but really how could they know as most people don't get early scans so would never even know- I know I would be hurt as a baby is a baby at conception in my eyes- hugs

Maple! How exciting!! Oh, I am so happy for you! I can't believe they missed the twin on the first scan! What a shock that must have been, LOL! How are you feeling? Has this pregnancy been any more tough than your other ones? Did you suspect there might be two in there? Big congrats to you!

Mum - I'm so sorry about your vanishing twin. And I know this is easier said than done, but try to stay happy and strong and positive for the little babe that *did* make it. Like others have said, girls are a bit stronger and don't miscarry as often as boys do, so perhaps you've got a little pink bean in there? I that everything goes smoothly for you here on out. When is your next scan?

HopingforSaskia - (I hope I spelled your username right, I'm going off memory, sorry!) - I'm so sorry to hear that you've been so sick. Trust me, we all know the feeling. I hope it doesn't last long for you, and the second trimester brings you relief. It's so weird how the sickness feels never-ending while you're actually going through it, but then it seems like just a tiny blip of time once you look back on it. I hope it's that way for you, and that you're not sick the entire pregnancy.

I hope everyone else is doing well. So, what is the total of ladies here that know what they're having...and how many more have yet to find out? This group is getting pretty big! I can't keep track of it all.
