Yeh I think most people are looking for a bit of friendship, help, advice, encouragement or whatever, an swaying is a very emotional thing to start with without peple being rude to you lol!!

I love it here! It doesn't matter how strong or weak your sway is, or what you add to it or delete, everyone is just informative and supportive.

Everyone has hopes and dreams for their children. It goes without saying we want them to always be happy and healthy, but other things vary person to person. You might hope your child is a doctor, or a lawyer, or a singer, or a mum of 12, you might want them to be athletic, or creative, to enjoy dancing, or playing piano, or baking cakes. Sometimes our dreams for our chidren involve them being a specific gender, and it is NO different than wanting your child to follow in your footsteps in the family business, or become a famous footballer, or hope that they will always come home for christmas, or whatever!! It doesn't make anyone a bad person or parent, it doesn't make anyone ungrateful, or underserving, it simply makes us human.

I was once very active on IG as it was the first site I stumbled upon when I started this journey. Of course, with it's constant technical difficulties, I was willing to look at other communities and THANK GOODNESS. While there are certainly some good people on IG, there is a definite difference in the atmosphere here. It's more supportive, non-judgmental and generally helpful here. I'm a loyal GD gal now, though I still pop in on IG occassionally to read updates from some of the girls I remember.

i used to be a regular over there too, i stopped going there after another unsucessful sway with my last son
did a lot of research there when ttc our third pregnancy and my last son both were completely unsucessful sways and i found i was seeing nothing but negativity over there.
i'm very new around here but have found everyone great!!
