Anyone else having a lot of braxton hicks?? I had one as soon as the scanner was put on me as the ladies told me. It was nice to know I wasnt imagining it but worrying all the same. I do remember having tonnes with DS2 from 16 weeks but Im more worried this time as I had that surgery on my uterus so I am scared of rupture.. Anyone else getting these a bit?

Its comforting to know Im not alone, I guess it is all normal. The tech said you definitely notice them more with subsequent pregnancies and she's not wrong!

I agree, I had a few toward the end with my first, got them earlier with my second, and have had them since almost the beginning with this one.

I've had them throughout my pregnancy too. They are PAINFUL! In the past I've never felt pain with them. Two days ago I had one that was the strongest ever, I'm nervous it's going to be much more tough in the delivery room this time! LOL

Thinking about you too, TTP. Hope all is well!!
I almost posted about the contractions over the weekend. I started getting them with ds3 at 18 weeks and was taken off work at 25 weeks. Come to find out it was mainly work stress that caused my contractions. I've been holding my breath this past week as I was entering my 19th week. I had just said got thru the 18 week without any and bam the next morning full on Braxton hicks. Now I'm having them quite often and sometimes 2-3 times within 5 min which scares me.
I see my Dr today and I'm so nervous for my anatomy scan results. She should've received the report yesterday, and her normal protocol would be to call me of there was a problem, but I have my appt today so if something was wrong she'd probably wait and tell me today. Sorry you guys have to keep hearing about it. Please say a prayer for me. I have no idea why I can't shake this. Deep down I know everything is fine.Brandy (38), Hubby (40), 3 handsome sons (19, 17, 6) and 1 sweet girl (3)
