Long term ttc, no apparent reason?

So I've been trying to conceive for 9 months now without luck. I have gone from swaying for a girl to just hoping for one more and hoping and praying it's healthy. Have checked dh's semen, my tubes, my uterus- and I know I ovulate every month. Bd'ing through o so it's not that. I honestly can't think of what's next, except to accept that it will happen when it will happen (easier said than done). Anyone else ttc for a long time with no apparent medical issues? Or did you ever figure out what the issue was?

Ds1 took 14 months and ds2 was a one hit wonder. Did the same exact things with both.

Edited: Long-ish term ttc. I know many women go through a lot worse/longer so I don't mean to sound whiny!

9 months is a long time to go with only BFNs, and it seems even longer when you are living it I am 3 months out from my miscarriage and it seems like an eternity.

I hope the Clomid helps you...I know it feels good to have a plan and some hope. xx

Wanting- condoms after #1, Mirena after #2. I took Mirena a couple of months prior to our first attempt.

Thanks Harleyquinn...after a miscarriage is even harder. Fingers crossed that we get our bfp's soon!

I know a couple people had luck laying on their stomach for 15 min. after intercourse. If your cervix is in a wonky position it may help, and certainly can't hurt to try. Would you use Preseed??

I know of a lady from IG who had 5 kids and it took her a year of TTC for no. 6. Sometimes I think our bodies just need a break for awhile.

Also, you may want to add 100 mg coq10 and increase folic to 2000 if you haven't already.

Since you've been on diet so long have you started zinc and iron? 8-15 mg zinc 3x a week and 15-30 mg iron 3 x a week.

I've actually been taking a prenatal. I made the decision a few months back that I had to know that I was doing everything for a healthy pregnancy for the sake of my sanity if anything else (with ds1 having autism). I've tried the lying on the stomach thing on Lassie's advice, but at my saline sono they told me my once retroverted uterus flipped back into normal position. It's discouraging but it just goes to show that we don't have a ton of say in these things. If anything I think waiting may soften the blow of gd when/if it happens. I've had a lot of time to ask myself if I want another baby or a girl- and now I know the answer is baby.

Laying on my stomach was one of the things I changed in my bfp month. I had just discovered that my uterus was retroverted so that's what promoted me to do that (also DTD from behind)
I'd been laying on my back in all previous months.
I had also taken zinc and vit d (bloods came back deficient in vit d)

Best of luck to you, I really hope you get your bfp soon xo

Thanks, Lass- me too. I think I will start a D supplement, I've been hearing that a lot.
