If the image isn't mirrored then it would be a girl... Did you ask the tech what side the baby is on?

They say with trans-vag ultrasounds it is how you see it. If you take your u/s and hold it to your belly, that's what side it should be. So being the baby is on the left, it would mean it would really be on 'your' right.. I'm going to guess boy!

You need to know if the image is sagittal - if so, there is no left/right side of the body captured, just anterior, posterior, up, and down (so in 2D, think of taking a picture into your side. Good luck!
