Ok I have a few questions. How do you girls check your ph? I got the papers but find them impossible to read. Also with the supplements are they ok to take whilst breast feeding? Finally I got my ppaf, but just 6 days after ovulation!? Thank you!

I'm still bf DS2 so can only take vitex, folic acid and antihistamine but only on the day of attempt. Most other supps are no-nos while bf! What were you thinking of taking?

Lucky your AF has returned! I'm hoping the vitex will bring mine back.

I'm not bothering to check my ph as Atomic doesn't think it sways anyway.

    HTH x

I swayed pink while BF DS1, and got DS2. You can't take things that alter testosterone levels such as saw palmetto, antihistamines can harm milk supply so some can't take them then, and whilst vitex is thought to be OK there have been no studies done to prove whether or not it's safe. You also can't take aspirin and taking cranberry can alter the pH of the milk which might affect the baby. Next time I'll be stopping BF to sway, and then going full on with the saw palmetto and aspirin!

Rainbow, so you don't think BF'ing is swaying enough then?

Rainbowflower - what supps did you take for your sway? I'm sure you've told me but I can't remember

Just curious as I feel like my sway won't be as strong without saw palmetto x

Not to step on rainbowflower's toes but I conceived DS2 whilst bf DS1 as well but he was already 19 months old then so was only two feeds to nap and at bedtime. This time DS2 is 6 months when we will start to ttc so I think that sways more as my nutrients are being depleted more through frequent bf.

I was only doing 1-2 feeds a day, so I feel that the benefits of BF were significantly reduced by that point. DS1 had already been weaned onto solids and those were the main part of his diet by then.

    this was my sway: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/add-...pink-sway.html
so took vitex and B6 (for luteal phase defect caused by breastfeeding), omega3 supp (to improve egg quality and improve the lining for easier implantation). I did take a few cranberry supplements and DS1 didn't seem to suffer from any milk changes with that!

Are there any stats at all to show what gender is conceived when BF'ing by age of the breastfed child?

not that I've seen anywhere.. external-studies wise

on the new spreadsheet I've created I've put which sways from this site were BFing when TTC, but didn't add age of child into that. From what I can see there were 8 pregnancies while BFing, and 5 got girls (so 62.5% of BFers had pink)

Can we guess by the age of the previous children how old the breast-fed children may have been?
