They won't scan me as its the NHS so basically they don't wanna spend money..... Surely if it was GD I'd have symptoms but I'm perfectly fine xx

Maybe you have a lot of fluid hun I wouldn't worry They measure the size of your uterus don't they not actually the baby??
I've always measured to the week but on my last visit to the midwife I was measuring a week behind, my boys were 8pound 3oz, 8pound 4oz and 8pound 7oz. So not sure if the measurements have anything to do with the size of your baby as they told me with ds1 he would be 7 pounds ish.

I was thinking maybe its fluid, I just wonder sometimes because when I had my 3d scan she measured 1wk ahead then, I just feel so heavy and uncomfortable like I'm,about to pop its horrible! Midwife said she's still head down but facing out not a great position for birth and apparently I also have a hernia x

Ahhhh, I'm worried about this, too. This girl is measuring so ahead of when I was pregnant with my boy... I was researching if it meant she was going to be massive (because I want to have a homebirth... and I'm 5ft, so even though technically 9lbs is normal, that number intimidates me when my son was only 6lbs, 12 oz) and during the anatomy scan, her stomach measurements was like 2 weeks ahead! Length was right on for gestation and head a little more. I was looking online today to see if I can slow it down... haha. I have been eating a LOT of sugar this pregnancy. I didn't eat nearly as much with my son... at all... but it's all I've been craving. Sugar sugar sugar sugar, so I bet that might be part of it. So I told myself I was going to stop eating sugar and start shifting to more whole foods the remainder of the pregnancy...
...then I got home 30 minutes ago and saw leftover birthday sponge the childminder made my son (his 3rd birthday was yesterday but we were both working so no celebrating...) and I ate almost all of it... there was like a big wedge.
Crap, I'm doomed! DOOMED!! I have a tape measurer and I'm going to measure my bump tonight (it hasn't been measured yet... I don't see the midwife until 28 weeks, though I'm worried I'm getting mild SPD symptoms so may call if they don't ease up. I'm hoping it's just from walking around in all this snow after not walking as much while over in the US.)2010 - 1 DS

I was told with ds2 he was going to be a big baby and that was from an ultrasound at 32 weeks. Scared the heck out of me as ds1 had only been about 7lb 4, ds2 was 10 days early and weighed just 7lb!
You may just have a lot of fluid so don't worry too much, the way I look at it as long as baby is healthy then you won't know the weight until after you've delivered so no point in stressing about it now.
I've actually put on less this time than either of my previous pregnancies although my bump is measuring pretty much the same as it was with them at this stage. I think it is just because I was at my lightest pre pregnancy weight this time, and I was off food for longer at the start so I didn't gain as much. I still don't have much of an appetite now and struggle to eat normal size meals without feeling really uncomfortably full.
I also really don't want to have tons of weight to lose after the baby arrives, I felt so good about myself after I lost the weight on the LE diet so I really want to be back in my jeans and feeling like a yummy mummy again asap. I think it is maybe part of me dealing with not having a girl as I want to be able to wear nice things and be all girly again myself without feeling huge once the baby has been born. xxDS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs
