Belle, I don't think apples are a bad idea at all for pink. Yes, they are alkalinizing and have some potassium, BUT they are a great source of fiber and are satisfying and filling.

Here's my day for today...A lot of this is NOT for PINK but I know I'll drop the weight quickly. Still having trouble w/food as I'm eating things like broccoli and cauliflower (sways BLUE!). I used to put kale in my a.m. smoothie but that's definitely not PINK. Aside from the cranberry, yogurt and calcium, I think this is all BLUE unfortunately. Yesterday was similar but was only 850 cals (which I won't do often since I'm breastfeeding and metab slows down too much and thwarts my weightloss attempt).

    1st Meal
Whole Foods 365 - Unsweetened Cranberry Juice, 8 oz
Garden of Life Raw Meal - Beyond Organic Meal Replacement Formula, 1 Scoops (85 g) Amazing Grass - Green Super Food Drink Powder, 1 scoop
    Grapes - Raw, 3 grapes

    2nd Meal
Trader Joe's - Greek Style 0% Nonfat Plain Yogurt, 1.5 Cup
Generic - Strawberries, 8 oz (approx. lg berries, 1-5/" dia)
    Kal - Xylitol, 2 Tsp

    3rd Meal
Galeos - Miso Caesar Dressing, 3 tbsp
Trader Joe's - Romaine Hearts Lettuce, 3 oz.
    Gopal's - Rawmesan - Original, 1 Tbsp (3g)

    4th Meal
Vegetable - Spaghetti Squash, 3 cup (155 grams)
Trader Joe's - Rustico Pomodoro Pasta Sauce, 0.25 cup 23
Lipton - 100% Natural Tea, 1 Tea Bag
Whole Foods 365 Organic - Rice Milk (Unsweetened), 1 cup
Trader Joe's - Organic Soy Milk Creamer, 1 Tbsp

    5th Meal
Trader Joe's - Organic Broccoli Florettes, 1.5 cup
Raw Revolution - Organic Greens Superfood Bar - Lemon Dew, 1 Bar
Stahlbush Island Farms - Cauliflower , 1 cup

    Other
Celestial Seasonings - Peppermint Herbal Tea, 6 tea bag (makes 8 fl oz)
Nursing Mother - Breastmilk, 15 ounce -300 cals
VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin - Prenatal Multivitamin supplement, 1 Tablet
VitaMed MD 300mg Prenatal DHA - Prenatal DHA Supplement, 1 Capsule
Trader Joe's - Calcium, Magnesuim + Vitamin D Supplement In Green Base, 1 tablet
    Snacks - Popcorn, air-popped, 9 cup

    Total Cal = 1,001
    Total Calcium = 190
    Total Fat = 23
    Total Fiber = 50
    Total Sodium = 828

Yup...I'm struggling w/the girl diet. Hoping the 20-something lbs. I lost last summer will help but I know diet before TTC is a HUGE part of swaying...

Are there any vegetables that are girl-friendly? Or any that do not sway boy? It's interesting reading about what others eat!

Well, most fruits and veg are alkalinizing and so are believed to sway blue BUT I am not sure that this is the key to swaying. I wrote a "Low-Everything" diet that includes fruits and veg and it's available in the Dream Member section.

I'm getting into the swing of the diet now, here's what I had today.
No breakfast, strawberry nutrigrain bar at 10
Lunch - ryvitas with humous (not great but low fat version) and strawberries
Dinner - pasta with leeks, peeled courgettes, unsalted butter and a little Parmesan with a squeeze of lemon. A glass of cranberry light juice.

Swish, I quite like the nutrigrain bars but I thought they were a no because they have both oats and wholegrain? Have you tried Ryvita Crackerbread? (The white ones in the yellow box with red writing - I didn't know they were made by Ryvita actually!). They look good because they don't have wholegrains but have hardly any calories, protein and fat. You're ahead of me of course - because I haven't even started the diet yet!!
