Also uk ladies I was wondering how you check ph of cm? I got some strips on amazon but I can't get any colour out of them.
pumping still counts as a feed if you express enough for a feed

I agree about waiting until you have a normal luteal phase before TTC. My first TTC pink cycle I had AF turn up way too early after OV and had a really bad luteal phase defect and it made it very stressful. I had to stop for a bit to get my cycles back but it meant my diet beforehand had been wasted.

I didn't bother checking pH. I bought two brands of litmus paper on eBay (one from China, one from UK) and both were too hard to interpret either not changing colour or changing to multiple colours in different areas. I just used RepHresh and trusted that it was working in the end.

Hi Tree, yep ready to go i think! ovulating around 21st... The weight is dropping off me, but can't help going over a bit on my salt intake oh well praying it's going to be ok....I agree with rainbowflower i'm not worrying about testing ph just get some good jells (aci-jel)(Rephresh) on the go, you don't want to stress and get your T levels up. Will keep you guys posted..

What are you doing timing wise? I can't decide what to do! Was going to do cut off but the more I read the more I'm convinced timing doesn't mean anything. But I think should I do frequent bd through ovulation or request release but just one bd...??!
Good Luck, very exciting! Def keep me updated!

Yeah my luteal phase was just 6/7 days!! Was that your ppaf too then? If so how long did it take for your luteal phase to regulate?
Do you mean you had to stop trying or stop breastfeeding? I'm planning on stopping the night feeds...
I'm doing the diet but think I just don't eat in the morning and then eat loads in the evening because I am so hungry!!

I think it was my 6th cycle after birth or something like that. The previous cycle had had an 8 day luteal phase so I thought the next cycle would be longer than that so we went for it anyway. I think it was a 6 day luteal phase or something like that.

we nightweaned so went down to just 2 feeds a day, and I increased vitex and vit B6 dosages and between those things it went up to 12 days which is my longest luteal phase ever!

I used to be 14day lp so 6 days was quite surprising! Will see what happens this month, although at the moment there is no sign of ovulation so it's already not normal (for me).

I thought you couldn't take Vitex whist bf-ing?

you can take it, it just hasn't been tested to prove if it's safe or not. Many do take it while BF, though, and I know Atomic did too.

I took each tablet immediately after a BF to minimise the effects getting into the milk
