I am so jealous of those buying girly things... Hehe. Hope I get to do that too soon.

I'm going for a 3D gender ultrasound in 3 and a bit weeks. I'm very excited about seeing baby in 3D. Never done that with any of my other pregnancies. So this one will be special anyway.

My ms is still hanging around. I'm over it. hope it ends soon....

Sorry that m/s is still plaguing you. It lasts for waaay too long, hard to enjoy life with it.

Huge congrats babycakes....must be such an amazing feeling hearing those 3 words...."its a girl"!!!

maple best of luck with your scan...we shall be waiting with baited breath to hear about it!

Hopingfor I envy your sense of intuition and your sureness you are carrying a girl. I am sure your sense will proof right! I cannot even begin to let myself imagine this is a girl for fear of even more disappointment and GD! Is this pregnancy totally different to your two boys? Mine is in nearly every single way yet I read more and more of ladies with identical pregnancies and then third totally different and yet same gender. I will unfortunately probably be one of those! I am 19 weeks and think the ms is creeping back or it's just indigestion after every meal manifesting itself in nausea! So over it!!

And thank you!!! I so hope we get the day too. And your right, knowing the surgery is coming with it is definitely not exciting AT ALL lol but I'm terrified of a vaginal delivery so I'm not dreading it much yet. I'm sure I will be once its closer though!
cvd that is so funny because I am terrified of surgery. I had my son vaginally and it was a piece of cake, lol. I mean it does hurt but everyone has different experiences and that is why I don't believe in people saying one way or the other. My mom's experiences with her kids was completely different from my experience with my son. I am just excited that you get to know Hudson's birthday soon!

me too I have never had a surgery(knock knock on wood) and probably would freak. one of the major reasons i didn't get an epideral w/ my first even w/ nurses and everyone in my ear being unsupportive and offering a million times. no way they were puting that thing in my back lol

I know! To each their own - I had a fabulous experience with my c section (as fabulous as a surgery can get I suppose lol). The worst part was the IV! I never felt my epidural or any of the surgery and it went by nicely. The recovery was harder but that's ok, I was actually doing so well after they discharged me early! Just hoping this one is similar!
I think you ladies who deliver vaginally (especially with no meds!!!) are so brave, I totally envy your courage and all you go through! I wanted a c section with Ryder from the very beginning but I had to attempt regular labour, he wouldn't come down though so I ended up in surgery anyway!

I wish I didn't have this feeling to be honest... It will make it SO much harder if it is a boy to settle into the pregnancy and just enjoy it.

This pregnancy is totally different in so many ways. I'm hardly even showing for one, and with both my boys I blew up almost straight away. Also my belly (the little one I have.. ) is already very watermelon-y. Again, with the boys I was typical basketball from day dot. I've been sick for much longer this time around too. From almost the very beginning and now I'm nearly 13 weeks and sicker than ever. with my boys it lasted 6-7 weeks max.

I don't know. I know it doesn't mean anything to have a different pregnancy (sometimes) but I honestly knew from before I fell pregnant that it would be different because it would be a girl. At least that's how I felt. Strange but true.

I am terrified of surgery too... I've seen it done on one born every minute and it scares me so much more than vaginal birth. but of course it doesn't matter how a baby is born, as long as it gets here healthy and happy, I'm all for it.

I hate IV's cvd but guess what...mine wasn't all that bad. Usually people have to stick me like 5 times in order to hit a vein so I was mortified to know that I had to do the IV. Well I had an amazing nurse and she got it in one try. Phew! Now with my son, I labored for 16 hours before I even asked for anything. I did two doses of stadol or Demerol...not sure which it was and then after about 19 hours I said forget this...give me the good stuff. Unfortunately, the epi didn't work and I was still in pain until I delivered...another 3 hours later, lol. As some friends of mine said, I hope I fart and this one comes out

So yes cvd after hearing all of that drama then surgery does sound nice.
