I almost always have 28-29 day cycles. This is my first month charting, but from signs and symptoms (and from how I got pregnant before) I always O around CD14-15. This month I O'd on CD22 (says FF) and I just got AF this am on 10DPO (CD32). I'm almost positive I always have a longer luteal phase - is it possible my body was just trying to get back to its regular schedule so my LP was short this cycle.. or could it be a possible Chemical? I got a BFN yesterday morning (9DPO) so I'm kind of assuming a chemical is unlikely - I just worry because I'm Rh- so I'm scared to miss a M/C and not get the Rhogam shot.
I'm so confused as lots of people say your LP will not change so I don't get this cycle then?! I'm not taking any supps and haven't been so I think it was strictly my low BMI that pushed back O until I ate a big burger meal and I got it the next day - HA!![]()

Shorter Luteal Phase or Chemical?

Can I have your chart link to have a look at your temps etc?
I definitely wouldn't have thought it was possible you had a chemical - implantation often doesn't happen until around 10dp and if you had a bfn on cd9 then implantation obviously hadn't already occurred so I would completely dismiss the thought entirely if I were you hun
You LP doesn't usually alter cycle to cycle but in some situations it can, for example I used to have a 14 day LP, now I have a 12.
It's hard to say without seeing your chart but the most likely situation imo is that your temps are off and fertility friend has made a mistake. Even with perfect textbook temp increases it can sometimes put it a day earlier or later than O actually occurred, so if your temps are a litte screwy for whatever reason it's even easier for it to be off by a good few days, especially if you miss taking your temps on days etc.
No matter what, I would wait a couple more cycles before worrying about anything. It's more about your own body's patterns and rhythmns than anything else, which you can't tell from just one cycle.
Also I'm not sure what you mean by low BMI? One burger meal will not be enough to alter anyone's BMI hun! xxx

Likely not a chemical. But it is possible that you had an anovulatory cycle. You will still get AF after an ano cycle. I remember your chart was so strange. And it is also possible that you got a positive OPK but never O'd. Check the answer to question #9:

I'm rh- too. You don't need anti d if you miscarry naturally and early. Only if you have ERPC. Doubtful it was a chemical. Apparently it's expected you have a few 'off' cycles a year.

Grrr... It never works when I do that - it shows up until about CD10 and thats all - almost like it's only saved up until that point of my chart to share, even though when I log in I see the full thing. It always does that.. not sure why... Anyways, it definitely put my coverline on and all my temps stayed above except one around 5dpo. They weren't a lot higher than my previous temps like some charts I've seen, but they definitely stayed above coverline

No way to truly know...the temp dip may indicate that but it is impossible to tell without blood test.
