I know how you feel Mommyof3boys. My 20 week scan is next week and I thought I would have decided by now. I feel sick every time I think of it. I want to know but I don't want to know as this is definitely last baby for me. I like the idea of getting them to write it down so you can look at the end to prepare yourself if you need to. No idea what I'm going to do and mine is literally days away

Hi girls sorry i have been awol. Yes been having some internet problems and some issues with my eldest (nothing serious though).

Not much news from ultra sound but got to have a repeat on friday as babe was in a bad position. No confirmation for gender yet. Also some concerns over the size of the baby as its measuring small but no ideas what that means (or if its just a small baby? no idea if that happens yet but my sons were only 7lbs something each) so got to wait but hopefully if there was anything seriously wrong we'd have been told.

Lovely to log on to lots of good news though - huge congrats maple (twin girls how exciting) and to you babytcakes bet your so excited, will update the other thread after i've done my online grocery shopping (but just had to check in first and see how everyone was - priorities i know, probably should have ordered the kids food first but hey ho)xx

I have always been team "surprise" but I don't get scans. kudos to you women that get scans even multiple ones and still stay team green I don't think i could have that much will power and it would drive me crazy for other people to know what I'm having and not me lol.

Thank you so much! And I'm glad you hunted me down : ) I am very happy (of course)! DH cried so I'm also thrilled that he is happy too, along with DS2 who knew it was girls the whole way through?! He has them named already!

I'm having a girl hun. Was shown girl bits at 15 week ultrasound. Will be good to confirm at 20 weeks.

Oops sorry violet...don't know how I missed that! I probably didn't but this pregnant brain acts up sometimes, lol. Well congrats dear!!!

Boo, I have to have a quick little rant/venting session

My MIL lately has been incredibly snarky towards me, I'm not sure why.. maybe I just always am around her in bad moods but tonight at DH's hockey game I had just about enough. I have had a good relationship with her until recently. Her daughter has 3 kids and parents them very freely, they hardly have rules/never listen etc. Where as I, have rules/boundaries and want Ryder to listen, he has a schedule and routine (I'm very organized and structured lol), and she keeps commenting as if I'm the worst parent EVER because Ryder can't run around doing as he pleases 24/7. She also is very upset that a) I found out the sex of both babies b) chose to have a second c-section and c) that DH and I have mutually agreed we do NOT want a third child, although to her.. it's *of course* all my fault. Anyway, she makes comments, like she's joking but really I know she's not and I'm SOSOSOSO tired of it.
I think that we are doing a great job raising our child/children and I am 110% content with any decisions I have made with this and my previous pregnancy.

UGH why does she have to be like that? She is starting to live up to the "monster in law" nickname already!
I brought it up to DH and he just said "Oh she could just be grumpy" but it's turning into something that happens EVERY TIME I am around her, it especially bothers me when her comments are TO OTHER PEOPLE while I'm RIGHT THERE.

Sorry to be a downer this has been boiling inside me for sometime now, I had to let it out. Anyone else have a MIL similar?
