Yes I second that!! Goodluck everyone TTC this month I hope this is your lucky month! Thanks to everyone who has been posting about timing BD - you have given me some food for thought there- I will be watching this thread carefully over the next few weeks to see what you all deciede to go with and how it turns out for you- BRING ON THE BFPS!
ILUV I have a PH of 5 normally and tested after 2 weeks of diet and supplements but no BS drinks or ACV or anything and it was still 5 at 'o'......so i am trying the ural and alkaseltzer gold and will test this month at 'O' just to see if i need to do more the following month when I TTC for the first time - I am soo nervous![]()

Hopeful, you want to wet the tip of your finger, then dip it in the baking soda, so there is like a little white "skull cap" on your finger, then put it in, but don't touch your cervix, it burns. You do want to go close to the cervix, though. So far in there, but not all the way.
TTC5, I know that must have been SOOOOO hard and I hope you are doing ok. I agree with you that it is probably best for everyone, and don't feel bad that you couldn't provide more help to your mum, she needs a lot of mental therapy to get over the abusive relationship, trust me, I've been there. And, with it being a safe house, you know she will be safe. And, this allows your immediate family to get their lives back to normal and you to be way less stressed, so GOOD all around!
Begonia, I am going to start the opks and tracking again probably next month. I do the same thing and skip our "skip" months because those suckers are indeed expensive!
And who was talking about performance anxiety? I think Spicy....well, you just gotta spice it up to make it less "I'm ovulating, let's go!" which it does get to be for us since we've been ttc so long! My magic trick is lacy panties, although they don't look as hot as they used to!

TTC5 - You're doing the best you can hun, keep you're head up.
Begonia - I bought 40 opk off ebay for about $8 and they've been working just fine. You may want to check this out instead of getting them from the store.
So funny thing going on here but it is a little tmi. DH is very susceptible to those "come get me" pheromones released around O, well for the first time since my bfp last Aug he's been crazy horny the last few days. I've had a ton of ewcm and my opk's are getting darker. I think I should have waited for him to tell me I'm fertile instead of spending all these months making myself nuts lol Since I've still been taking the sups we've decided to go for it. I haven't eaten any potatoes the last week but have still eaten tons of high potassium foods. I haven't eaten the jello or any grains either but I've been stuffing myself with meat/veg and fruit so I feel pretty confident I still have a pretty solid boy sway going on. At this point I so just want a baby, blue would be amazing but I just really want a new tiny one.Chloe 3/1/2002,

Sweet! Good luck, 3!!!!! I know, that pheromone thing is crazy! A friend of mine (who, incidently is 41 and has a 2 year old boy who she tried for), said they didn't take opks, just went by her ewcm and her husband's increased sex drive because of her pheromones, which she says he can totally detect.....so maybe you're in good shape!!!

Thanks Lola, I'm hoping his reaction is based on my body finally being ready. He swears he's felt nothing out of the ordinary till about 48 hrs ago and he's been super handsy ever since. I'm still not holding my breath but I feel positive that I'm actually going to get there soon instead of getting there eventually.

Wow the pheromone thing is crazy cool! SO excited for all these attempts we have coming up! I would LOVE to see every single one of you get a BFP!
Daisy, I think I either never O'd or totally missed it with the OPK's this time ... which would be hard since I took them at least 1x a day since CD8. I'm super glad we weren't trying but at the same time so confused! My CP/CM are definitely telling me the O window closed; I am still going to do an OPK today and tomorrow but I will be beyond surprised if I get a +. On the one hand I am happy I had so much EWCM but on the other I don't know WTH happened with the actual egg!
Jen I think if you've still been doing the supps and eating a good amount of nutritious food then you've got a fab shot at blue! Given that I think I missed the OPK this cycle I might just take your advice and get the ebay ones. I just can't believe that I missed it taking 1 a day... they were darkest on Sunday so I am wondering if maybe I had too much liquid or not enough time between potty breaks? I've never not gotten a +.
TTC5 ITA with others that while I am sure it was just crazy hard to do, it sure sounds like it was the RIGHT thing to do, and that is what is most important. Here's hoping your mom gets all the help she needs. And FX June gives you a BFP! Your DH sounds like he's been a sweetie through all of this :-)

Well I just took an OPK and it was flat out white, so I am SURE I either O'd on Sunday/Monday or just didn't O at all, because they were pretty dark Sunday. I have a pretty standard 14 day LP so we'll see when AF starts. I wonder though, if I didn't O, will that impact the LP?

Hi ladies, hope you all well! Seems there's more women trying for girls than boys, we've done well then havent we? I feel under a lot of pressure to have a boy since 2 of my friends have had their DG confirmed in the last 2wks. I also feel i shouldnt have told anyone that i was trying for another child because i'm so sick of being asked if i'm preg yet, aaargh!
