Hi luvalittleman, I was thinking of you but had no time to log in. Congrats on the healthy baby but I am sorry it wasn't your dream gender. I am sure she will make it up to you in different ways later.
My Scan went well, but the sonographer didn't feel confident to make more than 65% guess, so I will be posting my nub shots soon.

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes.
I do feel a sense of loss that I will never have a son but I am separating that from this little girl. My combined Nuchal scores were 1:1880 which puts me at the risk of an 18 year old despite being 39 - DH said I am just such a superior girl maker and mother Ha Ha. I am not experiencing as much DG now (have been since the Ultrasound Tech said she was sure it was a girl monday) and have cried quite a bit on and off but have decided I bloody hate being a moaning sook and I'm just going to get over it and embrace having another child. Much of that attitude comes from DH who said we were having a 4th child anyway, just because it is a different gender doesn't mean it really changes anything...best guy in the world.
So best of luck to those that are yet to find out - I hope every one of you gets your DG - but if you don't, it will be OK.
Personally, I am looking forward to my daughters faces tonight when I tell them, and I'm already thinking about the moment I have heaved and sweated and busted myself to push her out and they lay her on my chest - is there ever a better moment?
Now, if I could just think of a name I like......
    xxxx

Congratulations on your little Girl luvalittleman. I am sure she will be a perfect fit into your family. And as someone from an all girl family of 6. Sisters (the more the merrier) are really great. Especially now that we are grown up and don't live together but do live nearby.

You have a great attitude Luvalittleman..... I am getting positive energy from your post. I can totally understand the feeling of "loss" of our desired gender. I think about it 24x7 .... I will be feeling the same if I hear girl. But I need to keep my attitude like you & I can minimize the GD .... hats off to you and also your girls are so lucky to have a mother like you.

Thank you so much for your beautiful message...you made me cry (you know when you're a bit raw and someone is nice to you).
I'm not religious in the slightest but I believe the ability to give life is only a small part of motherhood - the rest is hard and getting it right is hard work. Have my fingers crossed you get a little boy (but trust me, your daughter will love a sister so it's a win/win).
