so here i am rounding off the blue streak this week with boy number 3 for me. despite a completely different pregnancy in every way possible i still had the feeling this was another boy. the tears don't seem to stop falling but hopefully in a while i will come to terms with it and just try and start the rest of my life knowing i will never have a little girl. i always had a feeling i wouldn't be lucky enough to have one. best of luck to the rest of you with your upcoming scans. i really hope you all get your desired little girls or boys.

Awe Heidi - so sorry you didn't hear boy and have been very upset. It's a natural response! So wonderful bubs is healthy however.
Just take the time to deal with it in your own way. Take care of yourself. Hugs to you! XX

Heidih, I am so sorry. I really feel for you and can understand exactly how you are feeling. I feel the same and don't even know if it is a boy yet. We are all here to talk and listen. I hope you are feeling a little bit better today and each day a bit more. Thinking of you heaps...

Mommy and Jenna, I too am sorry you are feeling the way you are. I really hope with time it passes. I understand about what your saying about avoiding people with girls etc. I feel like that already. I went to a kids birthday party last weekend and it was filled with baby girls. I had a few comments from people saying "you will have another boy", it upset me so much I left the party. I really hope it does pass and those who don't get their desired genders find peace with it. Thinking of you both....

My dh and I are planning a long weekend away without the kids in a few weeks, so that has given me something else to think about and something to be excited about. I'm so glad we have moms who are willing to watch our kids!

LO123 - I went to the mall the day I found out it was a boy, and I noticed that not only did I feel jealous of any woman I saw with a little girl, I was also feeling jealous of other pregnant women, just because there was a chance they could be having a girl! Agh! I hate this feeling. I just want to be happy.

jenna- alone time sounds niiice lucky you that should be something to keep your mind off of other things for awhile. I just can't wait for warmer weather agg it is right around the corner I know it but taking forever then I will be taking my butt(and the kids of course so no relaxing lol) to the beach ahhhh

I feel like I started the blue streak and I really hope for all you desiring girls that it breaks soon and we go back to pink!

I am so sorry for all those who didn't hear pink, I am a couple of weeks down the line now and it is getting easier and I really hope it will for you too. I have accepted that this is a boy and I was destined to live in a blue house. I guess what I found hardest is that I had SO many girl nub guesses including techs so in my head had a better chance of hearing link than blue but it was not to be......

So, my 20 week scan is on March 12th and I am doing the opposite to Violet and praying that they have it wrong!

My tech was a bit crap and this was the best pic I got ( after complaining that they would not give me a gender pic, she e-mailed me this one..)

I know it is probably an empty wish, but let me know if you think there is any chance this bub could be a girl!
