Hi foxy! Welcome![]()
I dont want to jinx myself but I dont get leg cramps and I didnt with the other 2 either but I definitely feel very lucky for it, leg cramps are awful!! I do however have super bad aching hips that tend to keep me awake at night along with SPD which is now making me walking like a wonky penguin lol

My doc said I'll have a growth scan at 34 weeks. I'm excited, I've never had an ultrasound that late as I haven't made it that far along with ds2 or 3.
TT, have you had a cerclage before? I had one placed at 13 weeks and am a bit terrified to get mine out as I've read it can be painful for some women, although others says it was a breeze. I'll be stalking you for updates!

I get leg cramps too. Really bad!! But I don't get them if I drink lots of water. Make sure you guys are staying hydrated.

Welcome foxy!
No one has mentioned a growth scan to me yet. I had tons of ultrasounds with my other 2, but not near as many this time.
I had leg cramps with the other 2, but I've been drinking a lot more water this time, and eating bananas. They say they can be caused by dehydration, or a potassium deficiency, but who knows! I do get lots of hip pain too! I toss and turn all night, and I have to physically get up to roll over.
Anyone who has had the raspberry leaf tea, did you have any kind of strange reaction to it? I drank my first cup last night and it was so yummy. Then later on, I suddenly felt extremely nauseous. Tmi- I kept feeling like I needed to have a bowel movement and went 3-4x in about 10 minutes. I also felt dizzy. Then when I laid down, I started shaking uncontrollably. I was thinking of going to the ER when it all stopped as fast as it came on. It only lasted probably 30-45 minutes total. I don't know if the tea caused it or not. I really want to keep drinking it, but not if it makes me feel like that!2009

Winn~ (((hugs))) You're a wonderful mom and accidents like these happen, though it's much harder on our hearts than our kids. No, this is my first cerclage too but feel free to stalk away.
My peri didn't sugar coat it and said I will be uncomfortable, and there is that small chance I could have to be numbed in the hospital. I had mine placed when I was 12 weeks so I totally understand being nervous. Fingers crossed that both our removals will go smoothly! xx
My legs have issues, I can't give them a really good stretch without feeling like I'll bring on major cramping.

Ah man, I was so excited because it tastes like regular tea to me which I have avoided for years due to caffeine issues
I couldn't find anything on reactions or side effects, besides the rare occasions of slight nausea or diarrhea. And that it could cause low blood sugar, but I ate dinner right before I drank it. I thought maybe it was the Mexican food I ate, but it was so short lived.

It might have been the Mexican food I suppose the only way you'd know is to try it again or maybe try a different brand of the tea. But I personally would be worried if I'd reacted like you did.

I made it like half strength too. I will probably try it again, and if it happens again I definitely won't drink anymore. I'll be super bummed though, I want to drink it just because I like it!
