Do you think it matters if I got the box of OPK's that says it's for in vitro? I have done the diet and supps for 6 weeks (including one glass of green tea every day or every other day, and Mucinex beginning at CD 9) and I have a little bit of blood in my CM. (sorry, TMI) Any thoughts? I'm thinking about BDing again tonight, just in case. I really want to do whatever will give us the best chance of getting a boy, and I'm afraid if we don't DTD again, we'll be in the girl zone. And I don't want to wait too long that my CM shifts. This is stressing me out! I love this group of ladies! You all are so great!
If your CM is ew still I would go again!

begonia- we sort of decided at the last minute to do it lol here's the gist of it

O-2 and O day, I've been eating paleo the last few weeks which is high protein, high fat, tons of veg and a bit of fruit, no grains but tons of calories and snacking. No potatoes but lots of avacados, beets & bananas. I've been doing pilates with weights, lot's of tea, tons of ewcm and bsf. I have no tests and won't be poas for 2 wks. so I don't obsess about any faint lines or evaps.
    Chloe 3/1/2002,Lucy 11/23/2004,Hannah 8/17/2007, Charlie 2/11/2012 GD sway baby!
    12/2003 @ 7 1/2 wks & 10/2010 @ 13 wks

    Finally our family is complete!

OK so I think I'm going to try taking the L'arg and see if I can delay my O this month :-) It would be great if I could push it back a week or so ... or even if it moved up! I'm just going to see if I can mess with my cycle this month, basically Swaying cracks me up sometimes!

Honestly, if I were you guys, I would take the opks and when they look almost positive, go for it. Or, if you have been charting and tracking and your O is pretty consistent *even* with the supps and diet thrown in the mix, then dtd around cd11 or 12. Then, when your opk turns definitely positive, just dtd about 12-18 hours after that. You will be in the zone then. And yes, you want to do the full nine yards each time, with Dh having some caffeine and you doing ew and whatever else you choose. I would for sure have you and DH take a mucus-thinner, like Mucinex or Robitussin, about an hour before your attempts also.

Like Princess said, she conceived her boy dtd 2 days in a row....and Atomic said she's conceived her boys with frequent bding also, in about every pattern possible.....just goes to show how little timing and abstinence has to do with it. Don't stress about it too much....even if you end up dtd 24 hours apart because your first attempt was say, on CD12, and then your opk suddenly turns + later that day, just go for it and don't worry about it. I know we all want to give this our best shot, but do remember that even if you just loosely eat the diet, take a few supps, and use preseed or ew, you are way upping your odds of your dice turning up blue! Believe me, I want a son more than anything, but the reality is that even if I try to make everything just perfect and do every little swaying thing there is, I still may end up with a girl, or may end up never getting pregnant at all. That little personal rant being said, I say don't worry about the timing and frequency as much. Your DH is still going to make millions of sperm after 24 hours, and if your body is primed to be more boy-friendly from diet and supps, then you are in good shape!
Thanks Lola! I started my OPK's today (CD11) and plan to DTD tomorrow night (CD12) then will as soon as we get the + opk we'll dtd the 12-18hrs as you suggested and that sounds perfect. O s/b on CD14 but will check and I bought a new fertile focus.
We did the Mucinex (both of us) last time, will do BSF this time instead of BSD and EW, caffeine, etc. I think Atomic said the BSF/EW's were safe together, right?
I'm much more chill this time since I've had some experience. And I just ultimately couldn't go as hard core after I took the breakish during the 2ww. I got kinda bummed a little too w/ the BFN..I don't know. Just need to get some eggs. Having trouble finding any with 9 PH.
Thanks so much Lola, I love you attitude and knowledge. I think it's a good way to go

I think you take URAL or the Alkaseltzer Gold , not both.

And who was talking about performance anxiety? I think Spicy....well, you just gotta spice it up to make it less "I'm ovulating, let's go!" which it does get to be for us since we've been ttc so long! My magic trick is lacy panties, although they don't look as hot as they used to!
Can you get them from http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com...mbo-packs.html They are very inexpensive. Although I do have smiley face pack just in case.

LOL! My DH's a butt guy, so I just got to shake that thang!
