Oh my goodness. I LOOOVE the sound of a hot pink dresser, that's fabulous. You sound so crafty, I'm jealous! And I can agree about the snow, I'm very sick of winter, just as I think spring may be coming it gets colder!
Since we just did the nursery for Ryder less then 2 years ago, we didn't change it. I just bought Hudson his own new crib set, the walls are a teal colour with animal decals, and I still like it so figured might as well leave it! So Ryder's room was our project since it had to be done (although for now he still sleeps in the nursery, his room is ready once we decide to move him). We bought him a Lightning McQueen car bed, painted and did a whole "Cars" theme, I'm still picking up Cars decor here and there so it's pretty well finished, just accessorizing nowAnd no shower for us, since we have most things from Ryder and whatever else we needed - I already bought (I'm a deal hunter and super organized lol I was purchasing things before I was even pregnant), we aren't doing anything like that. If it was a girl we would have! Will you be having a shower? Did you have to do anything for your other boys' rooms?? They must be so excited to be having a sister!!!!

Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

I just got back from my 23 week appointment and the Doctor said that my uterus is measureing bigger than it should be and is going to send me for another ultrasound. She said it may be extra fluid. Does anyone have any experience with their uterus measuring too large? I googled it but that is always a horrible idea because it always scares you. I am also having a lot of braxton hicks contractions, but I had a lot of them with ds3 so she didn't seem too concerned because my cervix is still normal (she checked just in case).

yeah me with ds1 they did calculations of fluid levels and placenta function and baby size, in the end they decided he would be a big baby but sent me for scans every few weeks when i kept measuring big - last idea they gave me of his weight two weeks before birth was that i should be prepared as he'd nine pound ish - well he was 7lb 4 which too much skin and skinny little legs - perfectly fine and nothing like they'd been worrying me about
DS2 on the other hand always measured small (bump wise) and we kept ending up with scans for the other side of the worry - needless to say that time around i am trying not take too much to heart when they tell me my baby is measuring small. Turns out he was slightly bigger than his brother but had been breech for most of the pregnancy and ended up with scrunched up little legs like frogs that took a week to straighten as he'd squeezed himself into such a strange position. Both were fine but i do think its not just about baby size - position and the number of babies you have had (and how things stretch) can also affect bump size so try not to worry too much.
Incidentially the baby with the most amount of fluid that i have carried ds3 was the middle of the road bump size but the registrar and the midwife both commented on how much fluid there was around him at birth - he was also the biggest born

I'm kind of thinking that it is just a big baby. Ds3 was 8lb 15.3oz, ds2 was 8 lb 9oz and ds1 was 8lb 1oz so I cant imagine that this baby would be smaller than 9lbs if the last 2 went up by 1/2 lb each. At my ultrasound he was measuring 1lb 1oz which is big. I think at 21 weeks they should be around 13oz so he is definetly on the bigger side. I think they were mostly concerned because of the jump from my uterus measuring normal 2 weeks ago and now it is larger so there has been a significant growth. I don't really know she didn't give me much information to go on. All she really said was that there might be excess fluid.

I've been measuring 4 weeks ahead this whole pregnancy. Yet baby is measuring a little small. We just have lots of fluid around baby this time and I'm carrying completely different this time too. Doctors don't too concerned expect they suspected multiples at first, as did I, due to a huge amount of multiples in my family. So had an ultrasound and ruled that out and just determined it's because of extra fluid, which is not a concern. I will see what they say at my next scan in 2 days.
By the way, I'm a wreck here. I have my anatomy scan on Thursday and am packing it. So hope it's my girl and 13 and 15 week ultrasounds look that way, but this is the big scan. The one that should tell us without a doubt. I can't think of anything else much. It's consuming my thoughts. I've been into each of my sons scans, convinced for different reasons that they were girls and been told boy. So perhaps I've just falsely convinced myself this is a girl and the same thing will happen again? So hard right now. I just want the next 2 days to go by. I feel sick everytime I think about it. oh yeah, totally forgot but up until i was 24 weeks i was measuring about 5-6 weeks ahead. I had an enlarged uterus before i got pregnant with DS2, which i know is common with veteran moms. Ive read that the fundal measurement isnt always accurate and it's fairly inaccurate before 20 some weeks (not sure on the exact week).
