1st trimester glucose screening

My first pregnancy I was diagnosed with GD at 24weeks. It was controlled through diet. Second pregnancy the doctor had me tested in 1st trimester and I failed the 2 hour test and had to begin diet control. But we lost the baby at 20wks.

Is it common to start diet restrictions since first trimester itself. Which week did most of you had glucose screening ?

I had glucose screening at the end of the 2nd trimester all 5 pregnancies.

I had mine done at 27 weeks, failed it, went back at 28 weeks and passed the 2 hour one (with fasting)

Sorry you lost your baby <3. It makes sense to start that early and have every thing under control and monitored.
