That's what I've got too HBP, I just listen to that and haven't got a book or anything. It is really relaxing!
For those of your on raspberry leaf tea already I was always advised not to take it before 36 weeks? Is it ok to take it earlier then that?
I have half packed my hospital bag, going to wash some more baby clothes tonight and then this weekend I need to clean up the moses basket and bouncer. I also need to sort out an overnight bag for the boys just in case things happen before my mum gets here so they can go and stay with a friend.
Think I need to write a list of what I have to do actually as I keep remembering things I haven't done yet lol!

Sounds like you ladies are getting super organised now, how exciting! I know I keep saying that but I am excited for you all
I am having my "celebrating a pink bundle" party tomorrow. I just wanted to do something this time as all going well this will be our last baby and I wanted to celebrate it with my closest friends & family. Im looking forward to it.
Anyway, not much else happening here with me, just waiting to have the room painted so I can get everything sorted out in her room, its a mess right now so I think thats why I feel disorganised. I know they dont need much to begin with but I like to be organised so Im not having to do it after when Im sleep deprived and sore lol2006

Mummypink, I have read you can start at 34 weeks, or even as early as 32! I would say just start out with a small amount and work your way up. I asked my ob about it, and she recommended against me taking it at all
so I will be waiting until after he is born to enjoy any more!
Bimby, that sounds like such a fun party! I hope you enjoy it2009

mummypink there are mixed opinions about RRL tea, i would just say do your own research and make up your mind about when you should start drinking it. When i drink it i get braxton hicks so i know it works, i really dont feel as though it will start labour though, its just like a workout for the muscles. And its got good nutrients that are supposed to be really good for mum and bub. I only have 1 cup per day at the moment, i will probably start having 2 cups at 32 weeks.
Have fun at your party Bimby, hope you can post some pics too, im sure you will be receiving some super cute girly stuff!

I got woken last night by a very painful braxton hicks, has anyone had any painful BH as they get closer? I can handle the BH where everything tightens, yes its uncomfortable but bearable but this one woke me it was that painful!

I've never heard anything about RRL tea. Does it bring on labor or just help it along once it starts naturally?

I started taking RLT at 37 weeks with ds1 and had him 4 days late, but quick labour, with ds2 I started taking it at 36 weeks and I had him at 38 weeks - even quicker labour.
It is supposed to help soften the cervix and get you ready for labour, they say there isn't enough evidence to suggest it can actually bring on labour but from everything I have read it generally isn't advised to start taking it until 35/36 weeks.
If you're taking it and getting strong BH then I think I'd be a bit wary about keeping taking it unless you are 36 weeks plus. I've been getting a lot of BH this pregnancy, and they can get pretty uncomfortable at times. My midwife told me not to worry unless they are accompanied by back pain or become very regular in which case it is a good idea to get checked out. By the time you get to third or more pregnancies your muscles are pretty strong which is apparently why they can feel so much stronger. xxDS1 - 4.5yrsDS2 - 3yrs

I almost had to go in last night. Had strong contractions for an hour straight and about 12 of them. I was determined to make it stop so I basically drown myself with water and made sure to lay on my left side for an hour. Luckily it stopped! Woofta!
