September 2013 babies!!

I didnt see the baby this time till my 12 week u/s I was constantly worried it was going to be dead first think I looked for on the screen was a heart beat... Plus my stupid dr did absolutley NO blood work til then either! I'm sure every thing is fine... My morning sickness started to come in waves at that point where it would be getting better a few days then a few days of hell...

I now have dreams every night of going to the u/s and it just being a boy... No girl parts turning to boy just clear as day boy...mis my intuition telling me something....

I'm sure you are right and everything is fine, I just can't help but worry since it will be 13+ when I finally see this baby!
I'm sure dreams don't really mean much but I know they can affect us. I had only girl dreams in the beginning then a few boy dreams now its just a baby in my dreams and the sex isn't really part of the dream. Ds1 thinks girl ds2 thinks boy and DH thinks BB!! I don't think your intuition is telling you anything I think your defense mechanisms are kicking in to try to soften the blow and prepare you for another boy if it is one. I'm pretty sure this is a boy inside of me and I talk and act like it is with no hope of a girl so I won't expect anything other than boy bits staring at me during my anatomy scan.

Yey! I've just moved the scan! I'll be 15+6 by my dates but 16+3 by scan dates, so hopefully they won't send me home!

Only 12 days left!!!!! Eeeekk!

Yup me too I act as if it's a boy... Time will tell all the thinking it's a boy has really put me at peace with having all boys

For those of you who are having their last pregnancy what is your plan for birth control?
My DH is getting the big V done...there is no way I'm havin more than four kinds I think four is a huge stretch to begin with but figured I would give ezra a sibling close in age...

I'll be having the coil again. I can't have any pills or implants as they give me migraines and I wouldn't want OH to get the snip incase something happens to me and he may want a family with someone new. He's 34 this year, so there's still time.

If we won the lottery we could be tempted to have another, but I'd want an au pair!

That's sweet of you to think of him just in case something happens to you. This is our 4th baby so even if something were to happen to me, I'm pretty confident DH would still be done having kids!

Ugh I am having pretty bad cramping tonight. No bleeding though so I'm sure it's just regular pregnancy cramping, it feels like AF cramps. DH is on call at the hospital until Monday night so I won't see him until then, and DS3 ran off with my phone and now I can't find it. I think it died. We don't have a home phone! I hope I don't need to call anyone for this!

I know I was having growth pains around 10 weeks this time... How bad are they?

Ugh I'm starting to worry that something might be wrong. I have no real reason, it's just because I've never gone this long without seeing the baby! Also my morning sickness and exhaustion are getting better, I know that could be due to the fact I'm nearing the end of the first trimester, but I've also heard a sign of mc is the loss of symptoms like ms and exhaustion. I don't have a history of mc I've never had one but there is always a first time for everything! Has anyone else waited until the 13th week before seeing the baby or even being seen by a dr? I did see the nurse practitioner and had my blood drawn at 9 weeks 3 days and it all came back normal. I'm getting anxiety over going this long without seeing the baby and now wondering if I should move my scan up a bit.

Try not to worry. I am exactly like you though. I found I would start to have a few good days and panic - its strange, but the ms is comforting to know things are still happening. You'll have your scan soon and see everything is going along nicely! Stressing about it does your body more harm than good x x
