Misjudged O now don't know what to do please help ASAP! Thanks

I had very faint lines on OPK at the weekend then nothing so I thought that I had missed the surge so DTD on Tuesday night as soon as DH came home. Used represh Monday night, FR 7 days, hot bath before BD no jump and dump. I thought it was a bit early so continued to test so my chart would be more accurate for next month. Continued FR.

OPK positive today (Friday) which means I will O between tonight and Saturday night. Should we DTD again in case DHs sperm from Tuesday have all died or will that be to many and put me in the boy zone?. That is 3 or 4 days cut off I think.

I stopped vitex and SF on Tuesday so don't think they will be swaying for me now - should I take a dose now?

Am thinking perhaps hot bath, DTD jump and dump if we do TTC. Am so annoyed with myself as had big O last night which will have changed PH.arrrgggh!


Please tell me what you think so I can make a decision before tonight thanks

Hmmm hoping Atomic will chime in and help you... Maybe get DH to release and use second batch as long as its day "before" you O? I'm not sure, but I have heard to use something like that in cases of emergency

We are 'up to date' with FR so I guess we could do one more release and then DTD but am worried about sperm numbers being too high if O is close.

If it is 3 days I am probably happy to just have the one attempt but if it is 4 then the chances of getting pg are almost nil. I guess I could OPK again tonight and if it is fading that would mean O was close.

I would definitely have you attempt again, Tuesday was too long ago.

If you want, you can do hurry up fr instead of just one attempt. Release once, dump it, then dtd again as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for your help ladies. You totally stop me from going crazy.

I have a bad feeling about this month so am not going to try again although i know that means I won't get pg this month. I just think that with the antibiotics earlier this week, stopping antihistamines, SP and vitex, extra sperm due to DTD early I have very little swaying for me. I know that I will probably regret is decision but just feel it is better to skip a month and stop stressing.

Here's to April and hoping that DH gets back in time

Yes I will act as though I am in the 2 ww and use the time to practise temping so I don't make the same mistake again!

DH thinks it was his sexy bod that drove me wild so I just couldn't wait to TTC LOL.
