Confused.com! question about OVULATION

hey ladies..

I had a quick question, My first attempt isnt till next month but Ive been keeping track of Ovulation signs with the CBFM, Opk's to be sure, monitoring when and how much EWCM i have and cervix etc..

Today is CD12 and i usually get my first peak on CD12, and Ive had increased amout of EWCM today, ovary pains. However today I only got High fertility day on the CBFM and +OPK today.

Just for When I do go for my attempt if this happens to me would again would it be better for me to Go ahead with DTD, I know with my bodys signs and the +OPK Its got to be better to follow than the cbfm!

As soon as you get a positive OPK I would DTD

So lets say like I got a +opk yesterday that very same evening I'd do an attempt and then following morning ? I'm still miffed about the CBFM it's been fine so far!

That's what I was told to do. When you get a positive and then next morning and night.

Do you plan on abstaining before O?

Today i got a Peak day on the CBFM.. and No smiley with the OPK.. and to be honest Im not getting as much EWCM and any ovary pains etc at all.. this is rather confusing..

Im not sure what is better to do, from AF and onwards ill be trying for evry 2-3 days so ill see what happens when the time comes lol im not bothered about timing Its not a swaying factor I just wanna get in that fertile window!! lol

Our last attempt prior to my MC we ended up BD on 0-3, 0-2, and 0-1 and I was pregnant with a baby boy which unfortunately we lost. Prior to that window we were BD every 2-3 days from AF to O. We didn't even attempt on O day because we felt confident with our 3 attemps we'd already had. Do what feels right! Otherwise it can all be very confusing.

Do any of you expert ladies know - I *should* O on Friday coming up according to calendar and what was normal for my body prior to D&C (praying it will still be normal for me). Hubs and I BD last night (Friday - unprotected) and plan to BD Sunday (protected) and then BD Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (which *should* be 0-2, 0-1, and O). How does that sound for TTC a boy? He has been releasing every 2-4 days for just over a month now. I will start testing with clearblue ovulations sticks tomorrow...Any thoughts would be appreciated!

It's totally normal to have less CM right before O. Your body sends out a big burst early on to kind of make sure everything is coated and then just goes with what's already there (remember, our body doesn't "know" about taking showers and so assumes that the CM it already made is still present and accounted for)

I agree with the others, I would start having attempts at the first sign that O is coming, be it smiley or peak

That sounds good, but if you don't get a pos OPK when you expect to, I would take a day off inbetween attempts.

I don't want you to end up having attempts for 5-7 days in a row without a break, if O is delayed. Better to have attempts on what you hope is O-2 and O-1, then if you don't get pos OPK take a day off, then another attempt, then a day off, etc until pos OPK. You don't want to accidentally deplete your reserves before the egg shows.
