Honey child thank you I have my mum staying she's taking the boys on a big day out I'm not sure i can get out of bed ;-( dh is away in India for work and I want him not all my lovely and well meaning friends ungrateful I know ;-(

You girls will likely think I've lost it but as I drove up from Dayton to Cleveland today (visiting my best friend for a night while DH watches the boys), I stopped in Columbus at another 3d ultrasound place. I just wanted a clear confirmation with high quality pics of my little guy. DH doesn't know, ahem. They had a special for $65. So it is definitely still a boy but this experience was so much better than the last scan! I could clearly see the cutest bub and the tech was able to point out all the boy bits, scrotum included, lol. We even saw everything feom different angles, not just potty shot. He was totally showing off, haha. She is 100% confident that this baby will not turn into a girl and so am I. In fact, I actually enjoyed seeing him and I feel a million times better about it all. I will post the photos tomorrow. I am also looking forward to my 18-week anatomy scan now and pray that he is healthy.

So Thorz, maybe consider this place for an elective scan? They are called First Expressions and they are by Polaris.

Its not mad at all! I've actually been looking round for another scan place at a good price as I just can't believe its a girl!

Hey northern babybond is £85 I'm going on Friday - let me know if you find better deal I would consider booking myself in for weekly scans for piece of mind..

Did they say if they could see ovaries a friend of mine - non sway girl said at twenty weeks I'm having a girl and I said oh they can be wrong and she said no they could see the ovaries!?! So maybe that's the question to ask?!?

As soon as I saw your post about another scan place because you didn't believe it..I ran here to see! My mind went back to all you have went through your blog post and how low you felt.. Your baby daughter was there all this time. I am SOOOOO happy for you!!!! Please when you get a scan, get that DVD, you won't regret it, I promise! I'm so happy your dream came true. Start shopping and take it all in!!!

Its £79 up here with babybond - thats who we went with - and there's a place about 40 mins away that's doing 5 min gender scans for £40. Its just weighing up whether its worth the drive. I may see if they've got a shopping area close by. I've got my 20 week scan (at 22 weeks!) on the 29th April, so 37 days ago.

It's mad what goes on with our bodies isn't it! I'm so moody this pregnancy! And a bit down in the dumps really! Always loved being pregnant with my last 2 boys! Pregnancy made me and hubby so close before, this time be and hubby are so distant. I've completely gone off u know what so that doesn't help! I just feel bugged all the time! It's horrible! I'm only 12.5 weeks pregnant! Wish I didnt feel like this! Anyone feel the same? A few people have said it must be a girl but I'm sure there is a little nub sticking up so I'm positive it's a boy so it must be just me being older this time with 2 kids that is making me feel this way

Eh, I've been a grumpy cow for months! I was so content and happy when we were ttc, but now I'm all weighed down with guilt for talking hubby into a third, knowing he'd like a girl, and what if we have another boy.. I know it will be fine once I meet the little one in person, but I'm so cross with myself for this dismal attitude and guilty for not feeling more excited and 'in love' with this baby like I did with the boys. So instead I'm busy getting cross with myself instead of getting busy improving my attitude! Gah!
